The Fridays, they do roll around fast these days!! At least these past few days have been in a little better focus than last week!! Yes, I'm feeling better.
I've had three medical appointments, and two repair folks coming by this week. Bible study was yesterday, and it was good to be there again. I missed last week because of my cold.
The Mas Verde dinner group was going to Fish City Grill, but it ended up being just Tim & Judy, and me. Judy's granddaughter and her family are down for vacation, and they wanted to stop by again before heading back to Canada today. Judy asked me to join them at her house for pizza. It was lots of fun, and I loved meeting her grands and great-grands. The two little ones are four and two. Oh my gosh, what fun! Much better than Fish City Grill (and I love FCG).
Today, I have another repair person coming to look at the cover over the ductwork between the AC unit and the house. The one there is loose and not protecting the system like it should be. It's always something.
I am having lunch with my friend, Mali, today. Her birthday is tomorrow, so it's my treat. She is turning the big 50. She and Danon are having a party next month to celebrate Mali's birthday, daughter Malory's birthday, and the birth of their new grandson to daughter Morgan. I've been invited to join the fun and am looking forward to it.
My weekend will be pretty chill. But guess who is coming for a visit on Monday?!! Jean and Dick are down visiting daughter Lisa, over on the Gulf, and they are coming my way on Monday!! I'm very excited. Joe and I met Jean and Dick (in person) back in 2017!! It will be so great seeing them again! I love getting together with blogging friends (and their spouses/families)!!

ReplyDeleteThat is awful about you air conditioner and hope they get the part quickly to get it closed up. Fortunately, it's not been raining! I see you ate at our favorite place - Portillo's!! Enjoy your lunch with your friend.

ReplyDeleteI love how your friends include you in their family times, and also how you are always open to entertain friends and their families too. You are the best hostess with the mostess! I'm so glad you are feeling better! I know it feels good to be able to get back out and about. It's really HOT here today, so we got our errands done early and are trying to stay indoors and keep cool. Hope your AC issue is not anything major or expensive. That's one item we cannot do without these days! Take care and have a lovely weekend.
