Lights
Welcome to another Tuesday 4 by Toni Taddeo.
Let's talk about light, okay? You light up my life.. shine a light in the darkness, Miller Light. All kinds of light, but how about at home?
1. Are you afraid of the dark? Is night or day your favorite time? I am not afraid of the dark, but daytime is my favorite.
2. Do you have night lights in your home? Yes, I do, in the hallways and in the kitchen.
3. How low do you set your air conditioning? Do you adjust it throughout the day? I usually have it set about 10 degrees cooler than the highest temperature outside, but it averages about 78° unless it is a cooler winter and I have to put the heat on.
4. Do you keep any outdoor or indoor lights on all night? I have a yellow "bug light" at the front door that is dusk-to-dawn automatic. My nightlights are on at night, but no other lights are on.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

How nice that your friends were able to spend the day with you and have lunch together and see some of the sights! I know they were blessed to be with you!! Looks like you had a perfect day! We have a LOT of smoke in our air as there are wildfires nearby (but we are not in danger). The air quality is not good, so we really can't go outside right now. I enjoyed your post. Have a "deLIGHTful" day!
ReplyDeleteI am not afraid of the dark but prefer night time when all my family is home.
ReplyDeleteAhh! I would love air conditioning, especially in the summer but it really isn't worth having it in our home as we only get a few weeks of really hot weather a year.
It looks like you had a fab with Jean and Dick.
Thank you, Terri, for a wonderful afternoon! I loved seeing your sweet house in person and talking and laughing together over lunch. The lake was a really fun and memorable experience! And I AM going to find out the address of the house in Lakeland where my sister lived back in 1966!
ReplyDeleteGuess what? We now have the same night lights you do. Bob ordered them after we came home from you and they work great.
ReplyDeleteI loved the pics of you and Dick and Jean. I know they enjoyed the time with you!
It's always sad to see good friends leave after a wonderful visit that seems to whizz by. Hopefully you will see them again soon.
ReplyDeleteIn spite of having just a short amount of time together, you sure packed a lot of fun into it, Terri! We have outdoor lights that have sensors, so they come on at night and shut themselves off when the sun comes up. Night lights are a must! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all your lovely photos, dear Terri. How lovely to have visitors.
ReplyDeleteWow, I was surprised and so happy to see blog friends Jean and Dick visiting you! What fun!
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of lights here. Loved seeing your photos with your blog friends. We (Kelly) keep the air down further than that! $$ She is a hot chick!
ReplyDeleteGood pictures of your people. You are looking more skinny all the time! What is your secret?
ReplyDeleteBeen a year and a half losing about 50 pounds. Just eating a lot less.
DeleteGreat images, Terri! I'm so glad others are drawn to your Southern hospitality!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have night lights because so many of the appliances have digital readouts that are rather bright. Even the automatic kitty litter pan has a night light built into it. It was fun reading your answers Terri and I have to thank you for all your prayers for my family. We appreciate them.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures! Our porch light is a dawn to dusk one also. I didn't mention that. Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

Princess has a hair bow? or is it a pink flower? Cute!! We don't have any night lights.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to feed the birds--especially swans!
