Simply the Best!
Here is an older Tuesday 4 from Toni Taddeo.
1. What was the best place you've ever been? A Place you would love to return to again and again. If I say my home, don't groan. Venice, Italy, was wonderful, and I always enjoy New Orleans, but there is just no place like my home.
2. What was the best book you have ever read? Seems I've answered this one a hundred times. The Bible, and my list of favorite fiction books is a long one.
3. What is the best food you've ever eaten? How about the best restaurant? White truffle pasta in Orvieto, Italy, is at the top of my favorite food list. The best restaurant would be the one that served that pasta. I don't remember the name. It's in my Italy journal, but I'm not digging it out right now. It was back in 2007, so may be gone by now.
4. What was the best movie or TV series you've ever watched? I am 74 years old and have watched lots of TV series. Recently, I really enjoyed Bridgerton and the spinoffs. The best movie recently was Nonnas.

I'm glad you are feeling better. I don't think I could answer most of these questions. Right now, "there's no place like home", would be my answer. For food, best place, and for TV...yes, the Bible, and I can't remember the others that well. TV? Gosh, I'm drawing blanks this morning. Been up since 4 a.m. LOL. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteThere really is just no place like home but Italy sounds amazing just for that pasta!
ReplyDeleteI have just finished rewatching Bridgerton ready for the new season in a couple of days.
Si eu am urmarit de curand filmul Nonnas si mi-a placut foarte, foarte mult.
ReplyDeleteI love my home, too, Terri. Those days of wanderlust are over! And we're on the same page when it comes to the Bible. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThe best place I've been to is our church conference center in Norway, and I have a plane ticket and travel plans to go back in five weeks, have to get in shape and start walking better! I have enjoyed visiting lots of places, like California, Oregon, Arizona, Florida, France, England, Ireland, Jamaica, Dominican Republic...have driven across the U.S., but I like home better too.
ReplyDeleteHome is a good place, and isn't it a blessing to feel that way? I agree on the Bible too.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a blizzard here again today and the schools are all closed. So a little trip away from home is sounding very good. :)
I'm happy to have had the opportunity to travel ... but like you, there's no place I'd rather be than home. I tell my 'kids' to go and have fun while they're still physically able. I'm so glad to see all these thumb's up about the Bible being best!
ReplyDeleteI am a real home-body so that is my bestest place, too!
ReplyDeleteYou know I agree with you Terri, I don't mind going to different places, but I love being home.
ReplyDeleteI love to travel, but I always love to come home, too! Great answer! As always, I enjoy visiting your blog and reading all of your answers.
