My week has been pretty chill, and that is quite good! Kroger delivered groceries on Monday. I did all of my bedding laundry (spread & blanket & sheets) on Tuesday. Oh my goodness, the cat hair that was caught in the dryer's lint screen!! Both of my boys sleep on the bed with me. On Wednesday, I did a quick load of clothing (usually one load on Wednesday, and two on Sunday). I vacuumed and dusted a bit. The cat hair doesn't stop.
Yesterday, I attended Bible study at church with our Pastor and 10 of our usual 11 or 12 members. Last night, the dinner group went to Reececliff. There were seven of us, and it is always fun. It's diner food and always just okay, but the company makes up for the food. Reececliff is known for its pie, so I had to bring a piece of coconut custard pie home with me, and it was yummy!
I received phone calls from my sister, Patti, and my son, Joey, last night. It was fun catching up with them. Patti, hubby Greg, and their daughter, Kelly, went on a little long weekend vacation. She posted a few photos on Facebook. I lifted this (candid) one to share here. I don't get to brag on my niece, Kelly, often. She is a professional graphic artist (quite good) and loves animals (like her Aunt Terri). Patti said it was so nice having a long weekend with just the three of them. It's been a long time since they did that.
I've got nothing going on today, but I will find something to get into, I'm sure! Tomorrow, there are now four of us going to the craft fair at our civic center. It will be a fun getaway with Sandy, Sharon, Judy, and me. More about that on Monday! Thanks for your visit!!

What a beautiful candid of your niece! Have a wonderful outing to the craft fair, Terri.
ReplyDeleteI hear you about the battle with cat hair, Terri, as we used to have two of them years ago. It's a constant! Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI remember that cat hair that never ends! But they are worth it.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the craft fair!
Sounds like a good week! The cat hair is a minor irritation to me, too. The craft fair sounds like a great time--have fun!
ReplyDeleteCraft fair! Now that sounds like fun. Hope you get to go. 😍
ReplyDeleteI've got cat hair on the back porch!! LOL. Probably one good reason why they will stay on the back porch...but time will tell. One day they may scoot in the door when we aren't fast enough and they may never come back out. LOL. Glad you went out to eat with your friends. Food always tastes better with friends. Your niece is lovely. Oh, I hope you have a great time at the Craft Fair. Sounds like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see what you buy! Have fun!!
ReplyDelete'Tis the season for craft shows! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteCoconut custard is one of my all-time favorites!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely young lady, your niece. Graphic artists never fail to awe me; does she sell her images online?
I hope you gals have a super fun time tomorrow!
Her most recent work was for a local bank. She did billboards and vehicle wraps!! Big stuff!! She doesn't have a website.
DeleteI am allergic to cats and dogs - but I wish we could have them. Your niece is beautiful Terri.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the fair!
I love your backdrop! It's so pretty. Sounds like you got a lot done this week. I love going to craft fairs! They always have so many things I didn't know I needed! I'm preparing for our Holiday Market at church in a few weeks. I'm working on the last few greeting cards and then I'll be ready. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHello, my friend. Your week sounds lovely, a good mix of necessary chores and time spent with family and friends! I hope your weekend is fun and relaxing!
ReplyDeleteHi Terri, your niece is lovely! Sounds like you have had some quality time with friends and loved ones! I have had cats most of my life, I remember the hair! But for myself it was such a small price to pay for the comfort and joy they provided! I now have two male zebra finches, so now it is the feathers...and some seed. LOL! But again, they are great company and I don't mind at all. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish you a wonder filled weekend!
Your niece is very photogenic! I'm sorry I'm going to miss the craft show, but will be supporting the USF Bulls at the James Stadium. Go Bulls!!! Have a great time at the craft show!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a good week! You don't mind just OK food when the company is good.
ReplyDeleteHow great to catch up with your family. It sounds like your niece is a lovely young lady.
Hope you have fun at the craft fair.
