I am out the door very early this morning for an ultrasound appointment. There is something they want a closer look at from my mammogram results last week. I'm not concerned because this happens every few years. I almost told them to forget it, but that would be the one time there is something to see.
Later today, I am taking my neighbor, Anne, over to Tampa. They are moving her hubby, Paul, to the Moffitt Cancer Center for some more intense treatments for his leukemia. Anne will be able to stay there with him for a couple of weeks, and she doesn't want the car to be there. I will pick her up when she needs to come home, and hopefully, Paul can be released by then, too. Please keep them in your prayers, if you would. It is a tough time for them, as many of us know.
The Mas Verde group went to Fish City Grill last night. It was a smaller group and we all enjoyed our meals. I didn't get a photo, but I had shrimp tacos that came with black beans and rice. Yummy. Bob and Sandy picked me up, which was nice. Walking back to the car, Sandy and I popped into Kirkland's for a quick look at their sale on Halloween decorations, etc. It was fun looking, and Bob was so sweet to wait for us in the car (watching TV on his phone...).
That's all I have. There is nothing on my calendar for this weekend, other than church on Sunday. I need to get some cleaning done, and I've been thinking about switching the queen bed in one of my guest rooms for the king in my room. Not sure yet, but giving it some thought.
Have a blessed weekend ahead, and thanks for your visit!
Praying your appt goes well today and you get the all clear.
