HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
SATURDAY 9: HAPPY HOLIDAYS
From the archives
1. As you can see, when Sam Winters was a little girl, she loved giving her annual wish list to Santa. If you could ask Santa for anything at all, right now, what would it be? A new car for my sister.
2. Are you currently on the Naughty or Nice list? How did you get there? I hope I'm on the nice list. I do my best to be kind.
3. Are you traveling this Christmas? If so, are you going by car, plane or train? I am not traveling. If I was traveling, it would be by car.
4. Did you ship any gifts to friends and family this year? If yes, which one traveled the farthest? I did send a couple of small things... to Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, and South Florida.
5. Did you buy yourself a gift this year? Of course!! LOL
6. Which do you prefer: candy canes or gingerbread? Gingerbread.
7. Close your eyes and tell us the first carol that comes to mind. Silent Night.
8. What's your favorite winter beverage? Water - no matter the time of year.
9. Share a memory from last Christmas. My sister was here and we had a lovely Christmas dinner with neighbors and friends.

What a nice visit with your sister and friends. Wishing you a beautiful Saturday my friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks to God's grace, I have all I need and some of what I want. If I could ask "Santa" for something it would be for our poor neighbor to find a safer, cheaper place to live and reliable transportation. There are so many around us that are struggling terribly. I try to pray for them every day.
ReplyDeleteNo traveling for us either. We will go down to Jax on Sunday to visit our niece and spend the day but not on Christmas. Being on the road for very long is getting to be too much on the both us.
Merry Christmas. 🎄
Team Gingerbread here, too! I hope that "new car for my sister" doesn't mean she's not joining you this year?
ReplyDeleteHa, I bought myself a gift (online) earlier this morning. (If we don't, who will?)
I feel so blessed not to be among the crowds at airports or thoroughfares, but wish them all travel mercies.
May your Christmas be merry and blessed, Terri! And I, too, prefer gingerbread. :)
ReplyDeleteHome sweet home seems swell this year! Don't envy any traveling/
