Rainy Days and Mondays
Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 where we ask just 4 questions each week to get you blogging and thinking and meeting other bloggers!
Rainy Days and Mondays was a song about being down but, not everyone is down on a Monday or a rainy day.
1. Do Mondays get you down or did they ever? Mondays are never as fun as Fridays. How about a rainy day? They only bother me if I had plans that get sidelined because of the weather, but it is out of my control. What makes it better? When the sun comes out! Rain is necessary and here in Florida usually only lasts less than an hour.
2. How do you like to spend rainy days? Tucked in safe, in my recliner watching something on TV, or enjoying a visit from a friend or family member.
3. Do you like to take a walk in the rain? Not especially. We had rain for two or three days when we were in Italy and we just dealt with it. Umbrellas were made for walking in the rain!
4. What is your weather like this summer so far? Too hot and humid. What would make it better or worse? It could be a little cooler and less humid. What is your ideal summer weather? 83 degrees and no humidity! A nice breeze.

ReplyDeleteLiving in Florida, I used to loathe the rain. It took relocating to the Arizona desert to cure me of that real fast. As long as it's not accompanied by severe storms, I'm fine.

I will praise You in this storm. Amen... what an appropriate song for this meme today. Oh yeah, 1st day of August! I can't hardly believe it! If it only meant that it was getting cooler I'd be really happy, but August can be hotter than July here in Florida! But this too shall pass, and we will soon be looking at September and then October...and happy, cooler months ahead! I hope you have a blessed and wonderful rest of your week.
I don't hate Mondays, but they sure do come up fast!

Ever since I retired, I don't mind Mondays at all. I do love the rain as long as I can hear it falling and I'm safe inside my home.

I like the rain too. I've even riden my motorbike in the rain and I forgot my rain gear! Now that's a tale right there ...

I always think it is so interesting when visiting Florida that it rains every day, but like you said, it is short lived. That is nice.
