Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 516
2. It's been said "Ignorance is bliss"...is it? I think that is an affirmative but it can be tough when all of a sudden you wise up! When the law is involved, we have all heard it said that "ignorance is no excuse...".
3. Would you rather be stuck on a broken elevator or a broken ski lift? I will take the elevator. Explain. A ski lift means cold... Have you ever actually been stuck on either? Yes, I have been stuck in an elevator. Of the common fears listed here, what's your #1- Public speaking, for sure.

4. What's something you like about the town or city where you live? Y'all know that I love Lakeland. We are close to Orlando and Tampa and the Gulf beaches. We have shops, restaurants, museums, many parks (Hollis Gardens in the picture)... I love Lakeland.
5. Life is too short to be anxious and worried about everything. Give it to God!!
6. Insert your own random thought here. After work today I am stopping at my boss and Mali's house to get instructions on caring for their four cats. They are going on vacation next week. Danon's daughter usually cat-sits but she took a new job and moved farther away so they asked me to do it. I am happy to take care of their fur babies and am glad they are getting away for a week. They live very close to the office so I can pop in on the way to work and then go after work with more time to love on them a bit. They have Cinderella, Samantha, Little Bit, and a brand new kitten I haven't met yet.

Four! Wow.. now that is a house full of cats! Good luck... :) Should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI laughed about your comment on company motivates you to clean. Me too!
ReplyDeleteI saw a funny meme around Christmas, saying "Tell your hostess the baseboards look good, because she cleaned them since you were coming." Ha!
You are good to take care of the cats. I'm sure they really appreciate it.
You are very sweet to help with the cats! Enjoy your day! Hope it's a good one!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have a good relationship with your boss which is so nice. I'm sure it makes working more pleasant. You'll probably want a kitten at the end of the week lol. Have a great day Terri!
ReplyDeleteLovely post Terri: I thank God every morning for a new day I offer all that I do in his name.
ReplyDeleteGod is amazing.

Enjoyed your answers and you photos. Hope you have lots of fun with all those kitties. Will yours be jealous when they realize you've been around other cats?
ReplyDeleteProbably.
DeleteNow THAT's a sweet assignment! I'm a little surprised you chose public speaking, because you look so composed in your university graduate photo. (I was going to say 'public speaking' as well, but remembered I refuse to even do that!)
ReplyDeleteSelf-hypnosis... I was terrified.
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness, I just posted about giving it to God! Same thoughts have happened to me. Something's comin' that's going to take a lot of trust in Him, me thinks ...
ReplyDeleteI could be a dog sitter. Couldn't do cats, though, 'cause Steve is allergic. Even if it's on my clothes his sinuses would go wacky. I hope your Boss and family have a great time and stay safe.
Fun post, as always.
Love xx
Imagine four cats getting along. Well no elevator for me - I will take the ski lift - too claustrophobic.
ReplyDeleteP.S.SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS And you are close to Ocala, wait, don't listen to me, I ain't been down to see ya ---grin. lololololol
ReplyDeleteLove your replies to the Hodgepodge questions today. You are going to be in kitty cat heaven next week!!!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness 4 cats might be a handful. Hope they are well behaved for you. Just doing a big catch up in blogland - sorry to hear about your co-worker's stepson.
