Sunday Stealing...

Thanks to Bev for today's fun!  You can join in HERE!

Stolen from The League of Extraordinary Pen Pals

1. Things I would do first if I won a billion-dollar lottery.  I would set up an LLC to hide from crazy people.

2. Something I would probably spend too much money on.  Crab legs.  I could order crab legs in a restaurant and not worry about the tab!

3. How I feel about the dentist.  I like my dentist.

4. Foods I am most picky about.  I don't like slimy food... okra, oysters, snails...

5. Internet friends/penpals I want to visit in person.  All of you!!

6. My healthiest habits.  Taking care of business.

7. Easiest, low-effort foods and snacks for busy days.  Bag salads are my friend!

8. Where I go in summer to unwind.  Right here at home.  Summer in Florida means staying inside, in the AC.  If I could afford it, I might be inclined to head north!!

9. My comfort books, tv shows, and movies,  I stream many shows on BritBox and Discovery+.  The books I read are mostly cozy mysteries.

10. A list of good things. My home; my church; my job; my connections with loved ones; my neighborhood; my pets; abundant blessings...

11. Favorite places to take photos.  The beautiful parks in Lakeland!!

12. The routines and habits I stick to most.  Monday-Friday it's work, home, sleep, repeat.  LOL

13. Topics I’d love to learn more about.  How to play piano.

14. This time last year ...  same old, same old.

15. Favorite memories of someone I’ve lost.  There isn't enough room here.

Peace & Hugs!

And oh, my soul, put your hope in God
My help, my rock, I will praise Him
Sing, oh, sing through the raging storm
You're still my God, my salvation.

  3. Yeah, we would have to disappear for a while if we ever won that kind of money, lol. Probably have to hire bodyguards too, lol. ANYWAYS, have a beautiful day friend.

  5. I am enjoying the AC this afternoon while sitting in my recliner, reading the blog posts of my friends. Looking forward to October and November weather (if there are no serious hurricanes, that is!!). Thanks for continued clean and uplifting reading on your blog posts, Terri!

  6. Right there with you on hiding from the crazies! That, and like your son and DIL, I'd love to set up a no-kill rescue for elderly and infirm animals. Agreed, there's no way I could encapsulate my favorite memories.

  7. I'm definitely with you on crab legs. Sadly, there is no place around here to get fresh crab. We got some for our anniversary at Red Lobster and it was terrible!

  8. I like those bag and pre-packaged salads, too. I get them for work a lot, but it seems like they wilt and turn brown very quickly these days so I can't really buy more than one or two days worth at a time. We share the M-F pattern of living. I'm looking forward to small groups starting up in my church next month so there's one night a week out of the rut.

  9. #1 ~ YES! And from greedy relatives. Happened to a fella in neighboring Alma, GA. He won mega bucks from the lottery and all of a sudden a bunch of (real or imagined) relatives and "friends" started hitting him up for money. Well, he was smart. He had built a HUGE enclosure with fence & barbwire on the top out there on Hwy 32. He also has a private number. All the "friends" soon evaporated.
    Love & Prayers xx

  10. After being in Portland in August I can certainly say that it's a delightful place to be at this time of year. So warm, sunny, and NOT humid!

I'm sorry you never kept up with piano. It is now one of my few ways of being able to earn an income. But I can't play as well as I used to. My hand-eye coordination is getting worse and so is the arthritis in my fingers. And of course figuring out the right power of reading glasses is ongoing.
