I spent most of the weekend in my happy place. Another uneventful couple of days. Sunday school started back yesterday, so it was nice to get back to our study of Genesis.
I cleaned on Saturday and always wonder how my cats have any fur left on their bodies when I empty the vacuum cleaner. Good grief! I did laundry on Sunday, after church. Pretty much it.
Our community group from church is canceled again for tomorrow evening because so many of our group are still sick. Covid, bronchitis, pneumonia, and bad colds... I am happy to not be exposed but do miss our time together.

For the Bible tells me so! Little ones to Him belong, they are weak but He is strong!! Sometimes when it is so hot, the "happy place" recliner is the best place to be...as long as you have a good strong AC running! We are still under a heat advisory for the next couple of days. We will be traveling to Wildwood today for John's cousin Jane's funeral. Not a good time to have to wear a coat and tie...but thankfully I don't believe there will be any graveside/interment today. I am sorry to hear so many of your group are battling illnesses. You'd think this summer heat would kill all the germs! I guess it doesn't work that way. I'm glad you are staying well. I hope you have a good week!

I saw on the news where covid is on the rise again, and now they've added RSV to the list. As usual I'll be staying close to home in the coming months. Hope you enjoy a week filled with blessingsl

ReplyDeleteSteve is allergic to cats. They do have excessive shedding and cause other problems. I watch those flipping houses shows and they always know when someone had cats.
