There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules.
Check out the dress and pick the purse you like best for the dress.
It's all in fun and just a whimsical thing!
Photos are from The Storybook of Dreams & Beauty.
It's another vintage look but also one that could also be seen today. She needs a purse to carry to dinner. Which one do you like best for her evening out? Count down 1-2-3 and let us know!
My thoughts: Oh, to be that thin and to look like that in the dress!! I'm thinking it might be hard to sit down!! I am drawn to purse #2 but I think she should carry #1. What do you think?
Peace & hugs!
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound...

That has to be photo-shopped because her waist is not in proportion to the girth of her lower legs or is that my imagination? If she was that skinny, would she be healthy or would her bones be pronounced on her torso? I do love the second purse and the dress style which does look great on a thinner person and not someone short and square like me. My dresses need a flair from the waist - - A-line. Back to the purse - -you are correct that purse two matches best.
ReplyDeleteThe dress wouldn't be in my closet, even if I were that slim. So many times dresses with all those buttons down the front will gap in some way and I don't like that.
ReplyDeleteBut with that said, I'm voting for purse #2 because the dress is very plain and needs some pizzazz.
I will take purse number 1 - lady in black!
ReplyDeleteI think #1.
ReplyDelete#3 for me! No particular reason, except I'm drawn to the shoulder chain.
ReplyDelete10 pounds ago, I had a dress just like that, only in Army green with gold buttons. Now I'm kicking myself for never having taken a picture.
I love #2 best but the first one matches better! But then I LOVE purses and would want them all! We both did a count down in our post! Great minds!
ReplyDeleteI'll go with #1, Terri. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you - personally I'd buy #2, but I think #1 goes better with that dress.
ReplyDelete#1
ReplyDeleteYes, that dress could be worn today, but not by me!
ReplyDeleteI agree - I like #2, but I think #1 would go best with the dress.
Oh, I have worn dresses similar to that style in my thinner, slimmer days. They called it a "column" dress, I think...anyway, I always liked it when I could fit into it. LOL. Not now. Anyway, probably purse #1 if it has a chain for security purposes. Some purses like that have them that can be used optionally. Nice outfit!
