Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 486
2. Are you hosting any holiday parties this year? Yes! Attending any? Yes! Party pooper, party animal, or the life of the party...where do you land when it comes to parties? I'm not really any of those. I will say I would rather host a party than go to one and many times I am the first to leave a party but I enjoy being with friends and feel blessed to be invited. Smaller parties are always better than big, crowded parties for me.
3. Do you purchase holiday clothing of any sort (sparkly tops, Christmas jammies, Santa suit, etc). I don't buy holiday clothing every year. I don't have a big clothing budget and I would much rather buy something I can wear all the time. That said, I do have a few Christmas sweaters and t-shirts. My favorite is a red t-shirt with a Christmas tree made out of cats.
4. What's your go-to recipe when you're asked to bring an hors d'oeuvre to a party? Hors d'oeuvres at my house are cheese and crackers or bruschetta. No fancy recipes. I do have an alligator cracker holder that makes the crackers taste much better!! LOL
5. December 3rd is National Play Outside Day...what might you do to celebrate? I need to pressure spray the house and I've kinda targeted Saturday to get it done. Not really playing but I will be outside!!
6. Insert your own random thought here. If you didn't see it on Facebook, my covid test Monday night came out negative for covid!!! Last Thursday, I was still positive. Didn't test again until Monday night... day 8. So glad to put it behind me!!

Glad to know your test finally came back negative! That stuff just hangs on and on. My flu or whatever it is is still hanging on by a thread...still some sinus drainage issues and now a headache. I may go to Dr. this morning to see if there is something else we can do. You do seem to enjoy hosting parties/dinners, and I am sure you do a wonderful job. I wish I lived closer to come and sit at your lovely table! The alligator dish is so cute!! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI love fun dishes and your alligator is cute. And appropriate for Florida : ) So glad you're better! Enjoy your holiday hosting and gatherings!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are done with Covid. Love your alligator tray. I like smaller parties too!
ReplyDeleteThe alligator tray is so unique, Terri, and perfect for someone living in Florida. I'm not a big party person, though I do enjoy small gatherings where I can actually talk with others.
ReplyDeleteAnd hooray for a negative test!!!
Such a cute alligator for your crackers. I'm so glad to hear that you are healthy now. Take care and have a great day.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are on the way to being back to health. There is so much sickness going around.
ReplyDeleteI love that cracker holder. I know crackers taste better in it.
What an adorable cracker holder!
ReplyDeleteNone of these party labels applies to me -- what do you call someone who sits in the corner 'people watching' and talking to the dog?(LOL) I'm so grateful to have left the corporate 'mixers' in the rear-view mirror.
Negative is GREAT, Terri. Hurray!
Can't believe December is here... but it is... :)
ReplyDeleteI feel a lot like you in regard to parties.
ReplyDeleteI Like the alligator, cute and unusual.
I'm so glad covid is behind you!
That alligator dish is adorable!!!
