This is a whimsical little (more than) basic black dress. I just liked it when I saw it. She is headed for a dinner date at a fancy restaurant and she needs a purse for her night out on the town. Which one do you like best for the dress? Count down 1-2-3 and tell us about your choice! It's all in fun!
My thoughts: As mentioned above, I just liked this dress when I saw it. I might even try to wear it if it came in my size (probably not). I think I will go with purse #1. The dress doesn't need any competition. What are your thoughts?
PS: Having a great time with Elaine and Jim and we are halfway through their last week here. Sad to think of them going home. It has been so nice having them here.

ReplyDeleteI agree with your thoughts on this dress and purse. #1 is best. It is a cute dress. When I was younger I might have worn it, but I'm not brave enough to make a "fashion statement" anymore at my age. It might be the WRONG statement and then I'd be embarrassed. LOL. I look forward to this post each week. Thank you for keeping it up. Enjoy your friends while you can. I know you will miss them. I hope you will have some fun stuff coming up when they are gone. This weather sure has been lovely!! I bet they aren't anxious to go back to the wintry north!! Take care and enjoy every minute.

ReplyDeleteNot #2. I don't like that at all. I really like #3 but I think it would compete with the dress. So #1 it is. And reading the other comments, I think I have lots of company with my decision.

ReplyDeleteI'd go for #1 too. I like purse #2 but there's not enough of that colour in the dress for it to work. Been catching up on your posts and so glad to see you're having a great time with your visitors.
ReplyDeleteI like 2 because it’s just so cute to me and maybe red will make the colors pop in the dress. It is solid color so maybe it won’t compete too much, I like red accents and I like the flower. Glad you have been having fun. Florida is awesome ! We are still in Florida but it doesn’t feel or look like it! Way north ready to stop soon .I hope it’s not still 32 degrees at home brrr
