Whimsical Fashion Review 2022...

There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules.
Check out the dress and tell us which shoes you choose for the model.
It is all in fun and just a whimsical thing!!
Photos are always from The Storybook of Dreams & Beauty.

I thought it was time for something elegant again and with Valentine's Day coming soon, weddings are being planned!!  Which shoes do you want to see the bride wearing?  Count down 1-2-3 and tell us your choice!!

My thoughts:  Isn't that a sweet wedding gown!  Probably a little too foofoo for me but I think it is lovely.  As for the shoes, pair #1 would be more comfortable but I keep looking at #2 so I'm going with it today! What are your thoughts?

PS... my house is as clean as it is going to get and my visitors will be here tomorrow, late afternoon/early evening.  I am planning some chicken tortellini soup for dinner.  On Saturday, Jill and Murray are coming over to join us for dinner with Elaine and Jim. Planning fajitas and Jill is doing dessert.  I will see Helen after work today and then plan a trip to Sam's Club.  Jim's birthday is on Valentine's Day so we will for sure have some red velvet cake to celebrate his birthday on Monday!

  1. The dress is beautiful!! I love it! Shoe #2 probably is what a young bride would wear, but a "sensible" bride would choose #1, since she will be on her feet for a long time! I am happy your friends are coming tomorrow. Sounds like you will have a full and happy weekend and also Valentine's Day. Will you bake the Red Velvet cake yourself? I've never made one of those. I bet it will be yummy. Have a great weekend.

    1. I used to do them from scratch but the mixes are delicious, Pam. It's just a light chocolate cake with red coloring. The recipe calls for cocoa and red food coloring. The mixes are good!

  2. Way too fancy for me, too, Terri, but the #2 shoes go perfectly with it.
    Blessings!

  3. I think her feet would be killing her by the end of the day in any of those shoes. But I am choosing #1. I think they are the prettiest. Have fun with your company.

  4. The dress reminds me of the tissue dresses my girls used to make for their Barbie dolls. It's quite frilly, and I think #1 shoes would dress it down a bit, nicely, but then maybe I just like them because they look a mite bit more comfy. #2 are absolutely beautiful though. Have a nice time with your company!

  5. I really like #1 and would suit the best... but I do love #2. #3 are not my style at all. My daughter recently got married and wore a beautiful classic dress... and lacy sneakers for comfort. x

  6. Hey, who cares about comfort if you aren't the ones wearing it.
    I love number 2!

  9. I don't care for that 'foo foo' (skirt) but adore the bodice! I think there's no question #2 best fits the bill. Hugs!

  11. I will go with shoe #1. It looks the most comfortable to me.

  12. I like the number 1 shoes. Maybe the 2 go best with the dress though.
I managed somehow to find my way back to Blogger. Nice to see you here. Enjoy your guests!

  14. Well, I wore sensible shoes when I got married (flats because I didn't want to be taller than Tim in photos) so I'm going with my fantasy shoes...#2. Love those!
