My thoughts: I really like this dress. It would have been beautiful for one of the Museum's Galas. If it came in my size and I got someone to lace it up, I might even look somewhat slim!! Couldn't breathe, but... I would clutch #2 as I tried to get my breath!! What are your thoughts?

PS: Several of you have asked about my sister, Patti, who had to cancel their vacation down here in June because her dermatologist found a melanoma on her back that had to be surgically removed. The surgery went well and they also took six lymph nodes from under her arm. She had a full body scan a week ago and nothing else was found. She did opt for a year-long series of immuno-therapy to just make sure it is gone. We are all relieved and she is back teaching school now. Maybe they can plan to come down next summer. I will look forward to that!! We both thank you for your prayers! xo

ReplyDeleteOh, I love the dress, and my eyes went to #2 first as well, but my 2nd choice is #1 because the black goes better with the dress probably. Either one will do. Who would ever wear something that laces up the back today? We don't have servants to dress us these days...LOL. Thank you for the update on Patti. I've been wondering, and am so glad to hear she is better and able to teach! I am sorry you missed your visit with her, however, and it's too bad you have to wait until next summer now...or maybe you need to make a trip to Ohio sometime? Fall would be nice. Maybe you could talk someone into going with you! Well anyway, it's just a thought. If I were "free" to travel, I would go. I'd love a trip to Ohio!! Anyway, have a blessed and wonderful day. So thankful for this good news.

It's good to see this news on Patti's lab report and her decision on the immunotherapy. I pray it's effective and there's no recurrence.
ReplyDeleteAs for the dress, I don't care for the lacing up the back (reminds me of a corset). I was going to choose purse #3 because I hang my purses on my body, but then reconsidered the strap would interfere with the beauty and symmetry of the black lace at the shoulders. So I'll go with #2 when Terri is done using it! ;o)
