Welcome to Tuesday 4 in honor of Toni Taddeo...
1. Do you have a favorite movie to recommend? I haven't been watching movies lately. I am always ready for one of the old Fred Astaire, Donald O'Conner, Gene Kelly movies though! Hard to beat 'em!
2. Do you have a schedule for your day or do you wing it? Now that I am working again, yes I do have a schedule and rarely have a spare afternoon to just wing it. I look forward to those, though!
3. What are you eating/cooking lately? Anything that is fast and easy. I've been spending a lot of time in the frozen food aisles at Publix looking for pre-cooked, fast & easy.
4. Do you surf on your computer? Tell us about it, won't you? I don't "surf" much anymore because Amazon.com is my go-to 99% of the time. Don't have to look elsewhere these days.
So, is your work schedule like 8-12 or something like that? I thought you were just part time, but never really heard what your schedule was. I hope it is working out for you and that you enjoy your job. But I know when you have to get up and go somewhere every day even for a few hours, the rest of your day just doesn't seem to be all that "free" anymore. I rarely watch full length movies anymore, unless it is something hubby wants to watch too. However, we've been enjoying the Midsomer Murder stories together, and those are about 2 hours long, so that is like watching a movie. Thankfully this was a long running series, so we still have quite a few to go through. Then we'll have to find something else to watch. LOL. I love your surfer girl picture!! I actually tried to surf once or twice, but didn't have much success. I was MUCH younger then! Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteI work 9-1, Mon-Fri. If I need to flex it a bit, the boss is fine with it. Joe and I watched many seasons of Midsomer and when I finish with Murdock Mysteries, I will probably switch to Midsomer because there are seasons I haven't seen yet. The only surfing I do it on the computer!! LOL

ReplyDeleteLOVE the surfer girl! We only visit Publix like once a month, but yes. They have the best selection of pre-packaged food ... and portion controlled, too. I need that kind of discipline. Have a great day! 🤗
ReplyDeleteAs one can tell by my answers today, I'm a fan of old movies too. I cancelled our Amazon account when they came out against conservative voices. Do all our on-line shopping at E-Bay. So far, they don't seem to be run by the insanely evil. E-bay is cheaper too. Hope you're not working too much. Be good to yourself.

Amazon is my go-to place, too, Terri, so I don't do a lot of surfing, either. Those work hours are ideal, by the way. Enjoy each day of your new job!

ReplyDeleteI get a ridiculous amount of stuff from Amazon, too. I used it before, but the last year has trained me to just get most things there. Plus, if it's something big, it comes much faster than if you order it elsewhere. I'm glad the job is going so well and you are liking it. Mine is still not getting going very much. If it doesn't pick up soon I may have to go back on the search.
ReplyDeleteI love the old movies! Amazon has become my new best friend! LOL! I always look on Amazon first to see if I can get a better deal. Since, we have Prime, it's so hard to beat the fast shipping!
