Sunday Stealing...

Love Me Some Surveys

Stolen from LoveMeSomeSurveys

1. Ignoring nutrition, could you live off veggies for the rest of your life?  Yes, but I would miss the meat.

2. Elaborate on a way you have volunteered?  I was a team captain for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, for seven years.  We raised quite a bit of money over those years and for most of them won the best fundraiser in the small team category.

3. Can you walk in heels, or do you feel awkward in them?  I could years ago but never again with bad ankles and artificial knees. I always felt awkward in them.

4. Any TV shows you sit down weekly to watch?  LOL... how about daily?!!

5. Will you tell someone if there’s something in their teeth?  Yes.

6. Do you ever actually make your bed?  Yes, every day!!

7. Do you make an effort to eat healthily?  I make an effort but it doesn't always happen!

8. What kind of booze did you last take shots of?  Probably tequila in a Margarita.

9. What’s something you want to purchase next time you’re at the mall?  Can't think of a thing. I haven't been to the mall in years!

10. What were you doing at 10:00 this morning?  At 10:00 I was in Sunday School class (9:15 to 10:15).

11. What do you miss the most about your past?  My recent past... I miss Joe, of course!

12. Last time you were really happy?  I am rarely sad, even now when tears still fall, they aren't sad tears.  I am a happy daughter of our Lord and Savior and He is in control.

13. Did you get a full 8 hours of sleep last night?  Yes, and most nights.

14. Have you spoken to your mother or father today?  If only I could.  My dad died in 1989 and my mom died in 1995.

15. Are you good at filling awkward silences?  No, not good at it.  I do try.

Peace & hugs!
Jesus loves you and me!

  1. I don't think I could ever be a vegetarian, Terri, as I like meat too much, too. Great answers here today, my friend. Have a blessed Sunday!

  2. I could never willingly be a vegetarian. I eat the animals that eat the veggie's like God wants us to. *wink* That's how I lost so much weight, have more energy and no longer have blood sugar spikes. No, don't want to go back to being unhealthy. Reading God's Word He even warns us that eating veg's makes people weak. That's enough endorsement for me.
We have regular shows we watch during the week, on YouTube (streaming) or on our DVD's. I'm glad we gave up satellite TV with it's sick commercials and high prices. I've had more and more friends cut the cable here lately.
Time for Church! I hope your day is a happy one!
    Love & Blessings. xx

  3. I couldn't eat just veggies. I'd miss meats, fruits + of course sweets.
    Have a great day!

  4. Enjoyed reading your responses, Terri! I don't think I could eat veggies only; I would miss meat, pasta, and of course, ice cream. Have a blessed day!

  6. A mall ... what's that? (LOL) I can't remember the last time I slept 8 hours, but I make up for it with an afternoon nap. Love my veggies, but draw the line at sampling one of the new 'fake meat' burgers. Eeeeew!

  8. I used to wear heels too, now I avoid them!
I make my bed every day too, doesn't take long and looks so much nicer.
I was in church this morning at that time too, our Cassie was dedicated this morning, so it was a different church, but very special.

  9. I used to love heels, but seldom ever wear them anymore.
I do make my bed every day.

You are amazing, Terri, to say that you are rarely sad. You're an inspiration to me!

  10. There was a time when I could walk in heels but like you, those days are past. My shoes need to be #1 comfortable and #2 attractive (definitely in that order!).

  11. Don't think I'd make a good vegetarian. I love chicken, beef, pork, fish, and eggs and cheese. I love vegetables too. I believe God made all of the above for us to enjoy and get nutrition from. I believe a well balanced diet, eaten in moderation, cutting down on sweets and fats and "processed food", is what God intended for us to eat. As far as "heels" go, I have one pair of very low black heels and one pair of very low navy heels that I wear only when absolutely necessary for dress. The rest of the time I wear some form of skechers. I have a couple of pairs of sandals, but I am not a sandal person. Too much sand gets in my sandals! LOL. Comfort is definitely #1 for me. And yes, I do make the bed every day. You can see our bedroom from the living room, and I don't like to shut the doors during the day, so the bed must be made! Haven't been to a mall in ages. We live too far away from them, and the last time I went there wasn't anything there that I wanted. LOL. Not a big shopper anymore at all. I hope you have a blessed week. I always enjoy visiting here every day!! thank you!
