Fridays have been rolling around FAST since I have been working again. Wow! I will be finishing a week of online training modules at work today and am sure glad to be done with them. So many policies and procedures to become familiar with. There have been quizzes after some but thankfully not all of them! Anyway, I took some photos at work to share today...
This is the building where my office is.
I had a nice dinner out with Tim and Judy last night. We went to Carrabba's and it was yummy. I had shrimp, scallops, fettuccini alfredo, and a nice salad.
Just a reminder to my followers who get my blog by email... That option is being taken away from us sometime in July. You will have to remember to use the link https://tdorsaneo.blogspot.com/ to find me each day or subscribe to a service (free) like Feedly https://feedly.com/ You can use Feedly for any blog or news service you want to see on a regular basis. It is how I keep up with all the folks I follow. It is pretty easy to navigate and customize.

Looks like a beautiful place to work.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Your new workplace looks like a beautiful place! I do hope you are going to love your new job and surroundings. Yes, the Rolodex is probably ancient, but then again, you never know what "important" information may be stored there... Sounds like your dinner out was wonderful! You are blessed with good friends and neighbors. God knew what He was doing (of course!) when He moved you and Joe to your new neighborhood. Regarding the email thingy...I rarely use that to keep up with my list of blogs. There is a "reading list" on the blogger dashboard that I use to keep track of when the bloggers I follow have a new post...plus I have a list on my blog page where I can see when they have posted something new. I receive very few email notices for new blog posts, and usually they are a day late anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe notice is only for my followers who get my blog by email, Pam. Mostly family members who don't blog.
DeleteThe computer looks a bit like yesterday as well.. :)
ReplyDeleteActually it is tied into a fast network with all the bells & whistles. The boss told me I am getting a bigger monitor and even asked if I wanted two monitors. One is enough! I can split the screen on a big one, anyway.
DeleteIt looks a great place to work. You will at least have a nice place to go when you need a break from the office.
ReplyDeleteWell it sounds like you have this job well in hand, Terri. I have not seen a Rolodex in years.:)
ReplyDeleteLovely grounds, Terri. Yep, I sure remember the Rolodex; doesn't seem all that long ago! You know, I was curious about why your job became available -- e.g., was it a newly created position, or was someone fired? Good to know that lady retired!
ReplyDeleteShe retired and my position is a new one. I'm not even sure what her title was but the FTE job went elsewhere and mine is a new PT job for this location.
DeleteSo neat to see where you are now working, Terri. Thanks for inviting us there! Since I follow you on Blogger, don't know that I'll need Feedly, but I'll look into it.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Nice place. I'd enjoying working anywhere that has a shooting range. We have our own out here in the country. It was fun seeing where you are during the day. I hope all your days are happy ones.
ReplyDeleteBlessings. xx
Looks like a really nice office. Don't you just hate training videos?!? Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to work. I've been at my job for 19 years and just recently threw out my rolodex! It's been in a drawer for so long I forgot I had it. Times sure have changed. Thank you for sharing your workplace. The drive to and from looks so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteThey're so lucky to have you! Looks like a great place to be! I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your workplace with us!
ReplyDeleteI use bloglovin' to follow blogs and it works well for me.
