My Thoughts: The model looks a bit like a young Sophia Loren. I love vintage looks and this one is reminiscent of days gone by. The shoes are all fun but I'll pick #3 for the dress. What do you think?
Prayer Request: My sister, Patti, called today to let me know she has a melanoma on her back that has to be removed surgically. Their vacation and our sister reunion have been postponed (we hope) until later this summer. She asked me to let you all know and to ask for your prayers. She sees an oncologist on June 9th. Luckily they got their deposit back for the house in Orlando. I can cancel our pedicure appointments. I'm a bit sad about all of this and especially that Patti has this worry now. Thanks for your prayers for her!! I will keep you posted. She doesn't want this on Facebook, for now, so thanks for keeping your comments here.
Oh, I am SO sorry to hear about your sister Patti, and will definitely be praying for her. I pray they can remove all of it and that there will be no other issues, and that you will be able to still have your get together later this summer. I am so sorry for you as well, as I know how much you were looking forward to this time with your sisters. (((hugs))) Now for the dress and shoes, I agree with you and would choose #3 as well. The dress is lovely. I might have fit into it long long ago, but probably would not have ever chosen it to wear. Not too crazy about the neckline and "sleeves". I am not one for exposing too much of my chest. LOL. Again, praying for Patti and all of you.
ReplyDeleteI will keep her in prayer. I know theses so scary. I pray it goes well and they get it all and you have that vacation later in the summer. I think #3. This model does remind me of Sophia Loren and the top of the outfit like a Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island.

ReplyDeleteI chose #3 too (I like #2 but not the anchors!), and the dress is adorable. I WISH I could fit into it, even if it were in my size, oh dear, it'd be rather funny. So sorry about your sisters' reunion being postponed, I'll pray for your sister.

Although I love, love, love polka dots, that dress is way too form-fitting for my taste. I don't like shapeless dresses, but that one looks like she had to be poured into it. LOL. Anyhow, I like shoe #2 the best.

I like #3 the best. But I would really prefer red accessories with this dress. And yes, she does remind me of Sophia Loren.
