From Friday Five

Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!

Stolen from Friday Five

1. What makes it easy to talk to someone?  A welcoming smile and being attentive.

2. Have you ever had a great conversation with a complete stranger?  Not great but a few have been entertaining.

3. Do you like to argue?  I loathe confrontation and do not like to argue.

4. Some people like to talk about things, and some people like to do things. Which are you?  I am not a big talker (usually) so I guess I'm more of a doer.

5. Who is easier to talk to – men or women?  I am not a talker but don't know that I have had a problem with one or the other being difficult to talk to.

6. What is your favorite place?  I love being at home.

7. What is your favorite place in your home?  My recliner.

8. Would you most want to live in a city, a suburb, or the country?  Lakeland is the best of all worlds!  I love it right here.

9.   What is special about the town you live in?  My regular readers already know this answer. Lakeland is a beautiful city with a small-town vibe.  We are close to everything wonderful about Florida.  Here is a new video I haven't posted before, done by Florida Southern College.

10. How much time do you spend in nature?  Not very much these days.

11. Do you make up a dinner plan for the coming week?  No, I do not.

12. Do you make up a grocery shopping list and stick to it when shopping?  I always have a list and rarely get only what is on the list.  Publix loves to see me coming!

13. What is one thing that you always buy, but never write down on a list?  It depends on what the BOGO table has.

14. Is there anything that you always think you are out of and come home with it to discover you already have a year’s supply on hand?  Coffee and salad dressings.

15. Do you get your groceries delivered?  Nope. I do use Chewy.com for our cat food and litter though (does that count?).

Thanks for your visit!  Happy Sunday!

Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

  1. Florida is a special place and you are fortunate to live there. Fort Myers/Cape Coral was a bit too far south for me and in a hotter zone- sub-tropical it is said. Enjoy!

  2. Lakeland is a lovely town. One of my shirttail relatives lived there and passed away a few months ago. He was heavily involved in girls' softball and took his team to state victory. He loved Lakeland.

    1. The heat is July & August and we have been cooler this summer than many of our northern states! Two months of high heat and 10 months of heaven!

  9. I am the same way about Publix Terri. I love their BOGOs. It allows me to share with my kiddos.

  10. DITTO (your) #6 and #7! If I don't watch him carefully, Tom's always buying more (unnecessary) salad dressings -- and butter. Happy Sunday!

  12. I had a nice conversation this weekend with some strangers from PA. They were in agreement with state of the country - both politically and with covid. He also said they had been driving a lot and saw lots of Trump signs.
I'm also not confrontational - I like to keep the peace!
