Thanks to Annie for this week's Tuesday 4. You can join in HERE!
Weather or Not
Welcome Friends! We offer four questions each week for you to answer. It gives you something to blog about, a chance to learn about others, and make new blogging friends. We keep it going in memory and honor of our dear friend Toni Taddeo, its original author.
2. Do rainy days bother you or do you find them a time to relax and take it easy? Any puddle jumping in your life? No, I don't puddle jump on purpose. This is Florida. It rains nearly every day in the summer but only for 20 minutes or so. We just wait it out.
3. Do you have meals you enjoy in certain kinds of weather or certain seasons? Please share them with us? We like soup when the weather is cooler but, again, this is Florida.
4. As the prophet Jeremiah tells us, It is a good idea to bloom where you are planted. How do you handle stormy weather and does a day need to be sunny for you to enjoy it? Why not give us hints on enjoying any kind of weather. Most days are sunny here in Florida. We have been here for 30 years so sunny is normal for us. My hint is to move to Florida!! (smiling)
Weather or Not...
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit” Jeremiah 17:7-8
1. What kind of weather pleases you the most? 75-80 degrees, with a slight breeze and no humidity... winter in Florida!

Thanks for your visit!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

I could pretty much echo everything you said! Even though I love the change of seasons up north, I can only stand about a month of winter and then I am out of there! We are so blessed here in Florida to really never have any extreme weather much. Yes, it gets hot, but we have AC. Yes, we may have hurricanes, but we have plenty of warning, unlike tornadoes. Yes, we could have tornadoes too, but they are not as normal as out in the midwest. No, we never have blizzards, and it would be quite rare to freeze to death in Florida. I would enjoy fall coming a little bit earlier and having more "autumn leaves" to look at, but it is what it is and we are blessed.
ReplyDeleteAS much as I hate Winter I think I would miss it if I lived in FL. I love rain especially storms.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I love the change of seasons and fall is my favorite. I have never jumped in a puddle and dont plan on doing it. lol Hope your Tuesday is a good day for you.
ReplyDeleteLOLOLOL. You know, for some odd reason I have heard this before, LOLOLOL. My bil an his family live in LaGrange, GA and he is trying to talk us into moving back south. My husband put the kibbash on that yesterday, "I don't want to live in the heat and humidity." Ok then. lol
ReplyDeleteNot taking your hint! Well, maybe I could be a snowbird, but otherwise it's too darn hot and humid. Though it is getting to be pretty darned hot and humid here in the summers, too, and without quite as much sunshine. It's the winter I really need the sunshine in.
ReplyDeleteI know that I would find Florida to be too hot and humid for my taste, but I could certainly see myself visiting there in the winter months. That would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Terri!
Okay - I would like sun, breeze, and in the 70's = perfect.
ReplyDeleteSix months South and six months North.. if only... :)
ReplyDeleteWe have all 4 seasons here and my favorites
ReplyDeleteare Spring and Fall.
I enjoyed your answers.
Have a good Tuesday my friend.
We went to San Antonio several years ago and there was no humidity when we were there and it was well into the 100's. I was fine. It truly is the humidity I can do without. I really had to get used to the rain everyday in Florida when we visited there. I thought that was so weird. Love your answers! Have a nice Tuesday!

Terri, I love the same weather you do. I usually call it Vegas weather. LOL. I hate too many gray days in a row, I get depressed. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteGracious, girl. Methinks the Florida Department of Tourism should make you their spokesperson! My favorite used to be Winter -- but that was best experienced in my hometown at 7,300 altitude, like when the snow would audibly crunch under your feet.
ReplyDeleteWe had chili yesterday & it was like 90+ degrees. I told Ricky it was messing me up - this is a COLD RAINY DAY FOOD! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, this is Florida and we take the hot with the cool. I remember our first summer in Jacksonville when Beloved and I went to St. Augustine and were so overwhelmed with the heat. You told me then we should save that kind of thing for October. You were so right!
ReplyDeleteI like it in the high 60's, low 70's with a breeze. I like rain too.
ReplyDeleteI think you are definitely a bloom where you are planted sort of person!
