Tuesday 4...

Thanks to Annie for today's Tuesday 4!  You can join in HERE!

Questions to Think About

Welcome to Tuesday 4 in honor and memory of Toni Taddeo.

1. What kind of setting do you like in a book as in nation, country, city, beach, resort, village and why?  I don't really care where a story takes place.  If there is no preference, how about a type of character?  I like strong women. I like mysteries. I enjoy historical mysteries. Police, FBI-type murder mysteries. Forensic tales... I do not like mushy love stories.

2. Can you tell us about a favorite character in a book you have enjoyed or a program you watch?
I love following the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich for easy and fun reading.  I love the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, both the books and the TV series.

3. Why are you interested in TV programs or movies you watch or books you read?  I think this was answered in both of the above answers. That is, what attracts you to them.  Again, see the above.

4.   Do you get upset if the routine of your day is upset or can you go with the flow? I can go with the flow. Since I am retired now, there isn't much "routine" about my days. It is easy to shift gears.

Thanks for your visit today!

Peace  & hugs!!  God bless!!

  8. I have heard good reviews on the Outlander Series and have been wanting to read the books for a while now, I just can't seem to make it happen. Going to keep it on my 'list of to-dos.'

  11. I am praying for you today as hopefully by now, 1:46 pm, you are out of surgery and in recovery or even better. Been thinking about you all day. I love to read mysteries, adventure with some romance, but I'm talking about "old fashioned" romance. None of the modern day drama or embarrassing scenes of today's romance stories. I like historical fiction and biographies. I don't watch much TV as I can't find anything worth watching, so I prefer to read. I haven't read the Outlander books yet. Maybe I will get into those next. Hope to hear something about your condition soon!

    1. Just a warning that they do have some graphic scenes. Rape and war violence. They help explain the characters but a few are tough to read.

  12. Hi Terri! I've not read saccharine sweet love stories since my early 20's when Real.Life hit me between the eyes. I've been thinking of you all day, and now imagining you're awake and happily floating on a buffet of good pain meds. :)
