Whimsical Wednesday on Thursday...

I didn't notice early enough yesterday that I posted this on Wednesday instead of saving it for Thursday.  My bad.  Thanks to all who visited on Wednesday.  Maybe someone missed it so I am leaving it here for Thursday!

There is no linky and there are no rules.
Check out the dress and let us know which purse she should carry!
You can read what others think in the comments below!

Polka Dots are back in style and black & white works all year long.
Which purse should she carry?

Purse #1 by L.K. Bennett

Purse #2 by Christian Louboutin

Purse #3 by Dolce & Gabbana

My thoughts:  I like the dress but am way to plump to wear it.  Purse #2 seems to match the best but I would opt for #3 because it will hold more of my stuff!  LOL  I've never been comfortable carrying a small little clutch and Joe hates putting my things in his pockets!  When I need something, he is always somewhere else.  It just doesn't work for us!  What do you think?

Thanks for your visit today!
Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

I am thankful to be off the walker and using a cane!  I even went up and down steps yesterday, preparing to leave the house on Friday for a haircut!!  Whoohoo!!!

As always, I am thankful for each of you, and for all the prayers offered!

  1. All three purses are cute, but I think #1 goes with it best. A cute little clutch that matches the red accent and the bow. Which one I would use? Well, none of them is big enough for me. Ha, ha.

Glad to hear that you are doing so well. Good for you getting a hair cut. That's still not possible here.

  2. I'm going with purse #2, though you're right about #3 holding more stuff. And we always need stuff, don't we?
    Have a great day!

  3. Definitely 1!!!
My comments are still not going to my email even after fiddling with it. I haven't had time to do a lot on it. I answered your question about the book after your comment.

  5. I love #3 and I am way to 'healthy' to wear a dress like that, LOLOL. Wait, what day is this? lol

  6. I'm glad you are improving and getting around better! I know it takes a long time to heal so take it easy! I like the first little purse....SO cute! I don't even carry one any more....just my phone! Have a good day!

  7. I love polka dots! They are such fun! I would choose purse #1 to go with that dress. When I use a clutch (2 times a year), I use it for my phone and a lipstick only, so I could manage for an evening with something that small.

Great news on your recovery! Keep on doing what you're doing!!

Ah, haircuts...I have a cut and color next Tuesday. Am SO excited!!

    Love,
    Patti

  8. My first instinct was #2 ….. but like the dress itself, #3 reminds me of the 1950's. Congrats on your graduation from the walker!

  9. Yes, I agree that the second one matches best, but I love the first one. I would love to have that dress. Polka dots! Glad to see them come back.

  10. Wow! I love that dress! Seems like my mother used to have a polka dot dress way back when, but I'm thinking hers was navy and white. But either way, I love it! I would probably go with purse #1 just for the evening, if I were wearing that out for an evening. But if we are going somewhere longer, I'd have to have a bigger purse too. Sometimes I take my bigger purse along and leave it in the car, and carry the clutch purse in with me. Then if there is an "emergency", hubby can run out to the car and get my purse. LOL. Glad you are doing well these days. Praying you will soon be dancing again! :)

  11. Pretty dress! None of the purses are really my style, but of those, I think #1 goes with it best.

  12. I choose purse #1 to bring out
    the red on the belt.

  13. I like #2 also but like you, have to have a bigger purse to carry everything in! Exciting that you are off the walker and just using a cane....I knew you would be better every day.

  14. I like purse #1. It would be even better with a strap. Glad to hear you are using a cane now. Great progress.

  15. Since I hardly carry anything in my purse, I like #2 best. Glad to hear you are getting around better and can use the cane rather than the walker.

  16. I love that these retro styles are back again. However, I need to lose a bunch of weight before I could wear them! I like purse #1, but if I could fit the dress I would use #3 for the same reason as you!

  17. I agree with you that #3 would hold more stuff but I think the dress needs a more petite handbag (purse) I'd go for #1 as it would stand out against the dress. (I think #2 might seem to disappear against the dress.) Glad you're making progress in your recovery.

  18. I think purse #1 would look the cutest. But like you, I simply do not know how to make do with a small purse.

How wonderful to hear that you're already done with using the walker!
