Tuesday 4 is Having a Tea Party!

Thanks to Annie for today's questions!  You can join in HERE!

Being Sociable

Tea party

Welcome to Tuesday 4 in honor of Toni Taddeo.

Today's topic is Being Sociable

1.  Do you bring a gift when you are invited to someone's home?  Usually. It depends on who is hosting and what the event is.  We do a lot of potlucks around here so bringing food to share is usually enough of a contribution, and we do enough back-and-forths with our friend Helen that we don't do gifts or thank you notes anymore, by mutual agreement.

2. You've invited other bloggers for an old- fashioned tea party.  What are you serving for tea?  Oh, how about those crustless finger sandwiches with chicken salad, egg salad, and ham salad,  quiche, a chicken flat-bread, a fruit salad full of lots of berries, mini cupcakes, and tea of course! When are you coming?

3.  Do you enjoy entertaining company in your home?  I do indeed.

4.  The 4th of July national celebration will be in South Dakota at Mount Rushmore. How will you celebrate America's birthday?  The way we always do.  Hamburgers and dogs on the grill, potato salad, corn on the cob, deviled eggs, watermelon, and a couple of friends over to share it with.  We don't go out for fireworks (they are canceled here anyway),

------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-op with the surgeon went well yesterday. Moving along to next Tuesday. Your prayers are appreciated!!

Thanks for your visit today!

Peace & hugs!  God bless!

  9. We have the best next door neighbors here as well. Janet brought us chichen stew yesterday along with cornbread. I enjoy giving little gifts to my friends. It is a fun thing and lets them know I appreciate them.

  12. Your party menu's making my mouth water! I've not had a good quiche in ages -- maybe I'll have to break down and learn to make my own?
    Prayers on the way!

We are having a tea party at work tomorrow for our nurses because it's nurses day. Lots of fun planned, so hopefully it's a quiet day!

  16. Oh, your tea party sounds delightful! I want to come! Maybe when you are over and done with your surgery you will be ready for a tea party...but I know that will be a while yet. Praying for you as you go through this big event. I know you will be fine and we will all be out here cheering you on and praying for you. Hooray for Terri!
