Monday's Weekend Recap...

** My BFF Elaine has hand surgery on Friday.  Spoke to her on Saturday and she is recovering well!!

** Our across-the-street neighbors brought us dinner on Saturday evening.

** I did my exercises twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday.

** Joe washed my hair for me, in the kitchen sink. I'm not ready for the shower just yet.

** Joe helped get the laundry done on Sunday.

** We "went" to church on Facebook Sunday morning.

** Cindy, from our church community group, brought me flowers and so did our neighbor, Sharon.

** Helen and Cheryl stopped by yesterday, late afternoon.  Always good to see them, and they brought dinner to share!

** I have physical therapy today, at 1:00. Looking forward to it and not looking forward to it.

Not much else to note. I am happy that we are moving into the next phase of being open here in central Florida.  Restaurants and retail shops can now have 50% occupancy.  Gyms and swimming pools can open on June 1st. Salons and barbershops opened this past week.  Some of our city employees will be going back to work in June, too.  Of course, common sense and personal care always come first.

Thanks for your visit!!  Wishing you a blessed week ahead!
Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

  1. My son went to Drive In church this week. He had to pick which service he wanted to go to then reserve a parking space. They were limited to how many cars could go to each service. He said he could see the Pastor where he was but others couldn't. They brought speakers outside so everyone could hear. He liked it.

    Have a great day!

  2. Your friends and neighbors sure are good to you and I know you are thankful for them. Hoping the PT isnt too rough for you today....it takes time and I know you know that but it doesnt keep it from hurting right now. We still have not gathered corporately for church yet but plan on beginning slowly on 5-31. Those with the last name A-H can attend morning service and I-Z will attend the evening service and the Pastor can see how many folks will be coming from that. God bless you as you recover.

  5. So glad all is moving along Terri. I know you are looking forward to the day when you have two good knees that do not hurt at all! We did eat out over the weekend and it did us good just to be out and about.

  7. You know where we are here in NY. The Southern Tier has reopened for Phase 1 (honestly, we have been in Phase 1 for 76+ days). ANYWAYS--I am glad to know your recovery is going good, keeping in prayer.

  9. Wow, Terri. You've got the BEST neighbors and friends!
Your reopening sounds much like ours -- easy does it. Some of our Bible study ladies met 'al fresco' again this morning, but it looks like we've a long while before in-person services can resume. There's simply too little room to ensure social distancing.

  15. Our community pool is opening this Friday, in time for the Memorial Day weekend, but there are so many restrictions that I have no plans to go over there. If I can't take in a pool noodle or other floatie device then I prefer to not even get into the water. And let's hope the chlorine is working (I fear it may be so strong it would either bleach the colors out of my suit, or dissolve it!!!).

You are making wonderful progress with your recovery -- your attitude tells us that. I'm so glad. And the many many kindnesses you have shown to others in the past are coming back to bless you. This is a wonderful example for all of us. Love you, Girl!
