pair of shoes to go with the gown and see what others choose in the comments.
This is just some whimsical fun...

A timeless gown that would be perfect for a wedding,
and it has POCKETS!!! But, she needs some shoes to wear...
Shoe #1
Shoe #2
Shoe #3
My thoughts: I think the gown is just beautiful and I would choose it for my wedding gown if I were young again. I love it. I'm not so sure of the choice of shoes from Storybook but I will choose #1 just because it seems a bit more delicate. Perhaps a plain satin shoe would be too boring so a little color kicking out would be fun. The heel on #3 would be easier to walk in but I couldn't walk in any of them.... what do you think?
Thanks for your visit!!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

3 because of the heel! I would trip in the others....lol
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 seems more delicate and softly feminine in keeping with the style of the dress.
ReplyDeleteI like #1, especially if her bridal bouquet had pink/red in it.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Terri!
#2. Love it. I have to have bling, although no one would probably see it, lol. Have a great day, friend.
ReplyDeleteTerri I love the dress but none of those shoes appeal to me...I might go with a blingy pair of tennis shoes. I see that some brides are getting them to wear to their receptions. I like that.
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 for me. I would find any of them hard to walk in, but back in the day maybe not.
ReplyDeleteThis is always so fun, Terri. Even though Wednesday mornings are busy for me (women's fellowship) and I don't have a lot of time for blog reading, I still want to stop by your Whimsical Wednesday post.
ReplyDeleteI am going to go with shoe #2. I love all the "sapphire" gems. I couldn't walk in those shoes, though. Nor in any of them.
Have a great day!
Elegant simplicity, indeed! Reminds me of something the late Grace Kelly would wear. I'm not wild about any of the shoes, but would go for #1 because of its delicate heel.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same tastes! I love number one - for walking down the aisle - but would have to have a more comfortable pair for later on!
ReplyDeleteYou know I'll pick #1 just because the roses reminds me of Belle ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous gown! And since my birthday is in September and my birthstone is sapphire, I shall pick the #2 shoe! Fun!!
ReplyDeleteWow...What a lovely gown. I choose #1, but then again, #2 is also my birthstone, sapphire, (Debby Ray above!!) so maybe I'd like that one better. I couldn't walk in any of them either. Pockets...what an idea for a wedding dress!! Keep a hanky handy.
ReplyDeleteThe gown is beautiful, I'm not a fan of any of the shoes. I would like a flatter shoe with just a little color. :)
