Classical: If you were an Olympian god, what would you be known for? Culinary arts... feeding the Olympians!! LOL Ambrosia...
Byzantine: Do you prefer gold or silver accessories? Silver, but I wouldn't turn down gold!
Medieval: Are you religious? Indeed I am!
Gothic: What is your favorite historic building? I saw so many amazing buildings in Italy, how can I single out just one? We also have many beautiful historic buildings right here in Lakeland (a lot younger than those in Italy)! The Westminster Presbyterian Church building is called Gothic...
Renaissance: Have you ever had a time in your life when you felt enlightened or changed? Yes, when I divorced my first husband and was free to be myself for the first time ever as an adult. It actually took me a while to figure it out.
Baroque: Do you enjoy the finer things in life? Yes, but I am very content with my more average life.
Rococo: Is your bedroom full or trinkets and pictures? Not full but there are some. If so, which pictures adorn your walls? Family photos (this was a loooonnngggg time ago!).
Neoclassicism: If something came back into fashion, what do you hope it would be? A-line swing dresses from the 60s. So comfy and forgiving!!
Romanticism: Do you often see things in a positive light? I always try.
Pre-Raphaelite: Which book would you like to see turned into a film? Films are never as good as the book. Let's just leave them alone!
Impressionism: Do you look for details or take everything in at once? I take everything in at once, then begin to seek out details.
Art Nouveau: When were you last at the theatre? It has been much too long. Joe doesn't enjoy it.
Surrealism: Why does the porcupine think it's a duck? LOL... because Karena A. Karras says it's so!!
Pop Art: Do you enjoy pop culture? I enjoy pop art (not sure about the culture). LOL
Contemporary: What did you do today? I am writing this on Saturday night, so I went to work, had a visit from Helen & Cheryl, watched some Villanova basketball on TV with Joe and we picked up subs from Jimmy John's for our dinner.

ReplyDeleteI also enjoy my average life, it's comfortable. I'm with you on the A-line dress, they were so 'forgiving!' We also have family photos hanging in our bedroom and I love looking at them. That is a great family photo of you and Joe and the boys, I loved looking at it too!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to travel and see beautiful architecture. Italy sounds wonderful. My sister-in-law just went there over the summer and had gorgeous pictures. I would have loved it.

Our day was rather boring. First snow and then rain. Now we have slush!Ugh!
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you on those A-line 60's fashions! (Well, except the mini skirt!) I agree, regardless of the genre, films are never as good as the book. Come to think of it, I've not heard of any new movies I'd go pay to watch.
