We have had a very rainy and windy few days here in Central Florida.
Unusual for us. We approached the first gate at the farm on
Wednesday (Joe's client) and had to get out in the rain to open it.
They have it decorated for Christmas!
The cattle were really close to the gate this week. We don't
usually see them this close to the main gate.
There were two calves right in front of us and I think
the momma was watching us closely!
The guinea hens loved the wet weather because it brought
the bugs and worms to the surface! LOL They were NOISY!
Here they are again, eating well!
The hens in the hen house were safe and dry.
Even against a gray sky, the flag always looks regal!
Two of the pups were chasing around and having fun!
This is Arya. She is a hugger and licker! LOL
Don't let her get to close to your face!!
Her brother from another mother and best buddy, Coby!
He is a mess too! They are Jack Russells and are so cute!
They are always together and love to wrestle!
Since it was dinner time when we left, we stopped at
our favorite Palace Pizza for take-home food.
Joe got a Palace Special (Italian Sub), I got
spaghetti with meat sauce, and we got cannolis
for dessert! Yum.
Lucy is always ready to pose for a picture!!
She really is a beautiful cat.
Yesterday, Joe and I had hair appointments. They
had mistletoe hanging and made sure we stopped
under it for a picture!
Last night, we met our friends (and Joe's client from the farm) for dinner at Thai Oshi. We sure enjoyed their company and had sushi, delicious meals, and some great conversation!! I didn't take one picture of the food or of our friends. Too busy eating and talking!!
Yesterday I made four kinds of candy and I will be baking today. Tomorrow we have the Christmas dinner at the Clubhouse which will be lots of fun. Looking forward to that!

Love those pictures from the farm, as always. Lucy's regal expression made me giggle this morning. :) Putting up the questions on Monday is a good idea! Have a great day. I am off with shopping to finish...and we are having more of the steady rain that started yesterday. By later this afternoon there's to be some snow mixed in. Yuk!

ReplyDeleteI heard from friends that there were terrible storms. Hope all is well. They had 65 MPH wind. Wow....
ReplyDeleteOnce again, you are so lucky to be able to visit the farm. We here live on 1800 acres where they raise their own beef, and fruit trees. Previously raised vegetables, but not cost efficient these days. Raise their own plants and we are really decked out this Christmas.

ReplyDeleteJack Russells - man, they are full of energy!!! Someone dropped one off at our house & that's the ONLY dog I said I can't handle ... luckily, my MIL took him & she has been such a savior to her with the love he gives.
Love your mistletoe kiss picture best of all, but your cat Lucy is gorgeous! Love the farm pics too...We've had so much rain and today is very windy. Feels like old man winter out there!!
