Do you remember when I posted this photo
a couple of weeks ago?
a couple of weeks ago?
I mentioned how the landscapers for the clubhouse
had left that branch
sticking out and it was making me nuts! LOL
They finally got it!! Yay!!!
Because of our lazy week, the only other new photos I
have are from our Wednesday visit to the farm (Joe's accounting client).
Driving on the 'lane' to get to the house gives us such
beautiful views of our Florida sky.
There were cattle along our 2-mile drive on
the lane to the house.
the lane to the house.
Sometimes they are all in the pasture and
other times we find
other times we find
them 'waiting for us' along the way.
The Guinea Hens were cruising through, making noise
and eating bugs! Busy, busy.
The horses got their carrots and hugs from me.
On the way home, we stopped at our favorite
little Italian restaurant.
little Italian restaurant.
Joe had a couple of slices of pizza and I had
spaghetti & sausage.
spaghetti & sausage.
What a lovely treat!
It is hard to believe September is upon us! Labor Day weekend will be quiet for us, though the HOA is doing a potluck on Monday. They will supply the ribs, hamburgers and hotdogs while the rest of us bring a dish to share. It is always well attended and delicious! We invited Helen and Cheryl to join us.
Thanks to those who prayed for Theresa! She told me the excision went well and the doctor is sure she got all the melanoma. Of course, we must wait on pathology, but so far, so good.
Thanks for stopping by! Give Debbie a visit at Breathing In Grace! Peace & hugs!

Best wishes on your holidays.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
The news on Theresa is good.
ReplyDeleteI love how the animals seem to anticipate your visits to the farm. Have a good holiday weekend!
Yay for Theresa. Good news. Good news. Prayers continue. Have a great weekend, Toots. Love.
ReplyDeleteI always love your farm pics.
ReplyDeleteThat's great news about Theresa.
Potluck sounds fun.
Have a nice day!
Beautiful photos, have a great Labor Day!!!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that twig would have driven me nuts, too! I always worry about animals who live in places I think are too hot and in winter, too cold. I would bring them all inside to cool off or warm up. Yes, I have a problem. LOL
ReplyDeleteGlad the twig is hone! That would drive me crazy! I would have taken my scissors and snipped it myself! Lol
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought -- I nearly always have scissors with me. I would have snipped it off!
DeleteThat twig would drive me nuts too, glad it's gone!! Enjoyed all your pics today, hope you and Joe have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove your weekly visit to the farm. I know that has to be a highlight for you both...and the animals look like they are just waiting for you...especially the horses...for the carrots! Glad they trimmed that bush...I probably would have gone over and plucked it off...Ha ha. Your Labor Day luncheon sounds great. We don't have any special plans...debating on going to a picnic supper with the church choir folks...but in so doing we would be committing to joining the choir...not sure about that yet...it's a long drive and it would be at night...and we don't do night driving much, especially 30 miles in the forest...so...still discussing and debating. Have a blessed and peaceful weekend.
ReplyDeleteAll that food sounds so wonderful … the Italian and the ribs and spaghetti. How nice to have that luncheon to go to. We have nothing planned, although tomorrow night is a special night at our church for the ladies called Rejuvenate and it is always good. I will be there. I think a trip to the country each week would really be nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful days
ReplyDeleteGreat news about Theresa!!! Will keep praying for her.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the long weekend, Terri!
Yes, where DID August go? It just flew by!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice weekend ahead for you. That luncheon sounds like fun!
Can't believe that Summer has summered out.... where did it go? I sure didn't see it! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to believe it is knocking at the door of September. Nice pictures on the way to and at the farm. Have a nice Labor Day weekend. Good to hear all went well with Theresa. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteSpaghetti and sausage fixings are going on here, as well! Tom always makes enough for a crowd, then keeps individual portions in the freezer. That's so sweet of y'all to include Helen and Cheryl in Mas Verde's get-togethers! Thanks for the update on Theresa!
ReplyDeleteThat branch would have bugged me too! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad Theresa is doing well.
I'm not ready for September!
So glad Theresa is doing well and prayers for good test results. A 2 mile driveway... just wow! Great fotos of all the critters. Hope you have a great Labor Day celebrating with friends! 💜
