I don't have a long list today, though I am thankful for so many things in my life! First and foremost is that Joe is feeling a little better and is coughing less. We skipped going to the farm yesterday (Joe's client) but are going today. Thankful that he feels up to it!! Your prayers are helping with his recovery and are much appreciated!! So thankful for my friends here!
I realized that I skipped the April Challenge in yesterday's Hodgepodge post so I will do the 11th and 12th below.

#11 Your current relationship and if single, discuss that too.
Of course, most of you reading this know that I am married to Joe and we will celebrate our 33rd anniversary in May. Joe is 14 years older than me and his health is beginning to create some challenges for both of us. God is good and we trust in Him always and for all things.
#12 Two words/phrases that make you laugh.
I'm going to cop-out on this one because I can't think of anything specific right now. There are lots of things that make me laugh and sometimes it is just an off-hand remark made at the right time. Joe makes me laugh all the time. Laughter is the best medicine and I always look for things to make me laugh and be happy.
Thanks again to Rebecca Jo for hosting Thankful Thursday! Keep the glass half full, people!!
Thanks for your visit! Peace & hugs.

So glad to hear Joe is feeling better. I know you enjoy going to the farm and seeing all the animals, etc. I love to laugh as well, and it doesnt take much for me...be blessed today my friend.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day at the farm! Be sure to take some good pictures!! Glad that Joe is feeling some better, and we pray he will continue to improve day by day. Yes...that glass is definitely half full!! :)

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day and glad things with your husband are improving. Spring is thinking about making a debut the next several days... here is hoping.. Haven't warmed my bones since I left Florida! :)
ReplyDeleteI knew Joe was older than you Terri but I did not know by how much. Praying for you both as you navigate his health issues.
ReplyDeleteAlways praying for your sweet love!
ReplyDeleteGod bless y'all's longevity! I sure understand how one partner's health challenges affects both parties. So heartwarming to hear he's doing a little better!
ReplyDeleteI agree, laughter is the Best Medicine!
Good to hear Joe is feeling better, hope y'all have a great day at the farm.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Joe is better. Have fun at the farm. hugs, lj
ReplyDeleteI am thankful also that Joe is feeling better today. Hope you had a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a relief to know Joe is doing better, Terri! Will keep praying for him. Happy Early Anniversary, too!
ReplyDeleteOh my, my dad was 16 years older than my mom and Tim's oldest sister married a man just a couple of years younger than their father. In both cases health caused some big changes in lifestyle. After watching my mom become a widow at 50, I don't think I'd ever take a chance on someone a lot older....not that it's likely to come up at this point. lol
ReplyDeleteWhen we were in our 30s and 40s, the difference didn't seen that big. Now he is 80 and I'm 66. I still love him just as much and knew this day would come.
DeleteGlad to hear your husband is feeling better. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Joe is feeling better! Still praying for Joe and the upcoming surgery.
ReplyDeleteGlad Joe is doing better and that he still has the ability to make you life. Your life together is certainly something to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great day at the farm. So glad Mr. Joe is feeling some better. I know that makes you feel better, too. 💜
