I mentioned yesterday that we didn't visit the farm on Wednesday because Joe was still feeling so bad. He wasn't much better on Thursday, but we went ahead. He did okay in the office and I got to visit the horses, the ducks, the dogs, etc. Below are a few of the photos I took.
Erica was working with Hope yesterday. Little G was back
in school, so Erica was on her own.
Hope was not cooperating. Young and stubborn!
The ducks were quacking!
Of course, the beautiful blue Florida sky!
My buddy, Doc, stuck his tongue out at me and
Pistle walked away when they figured out I didn't have apples.
(Winking.... LOL I did catch Doc just right though!)

#13 Your commute to/from work
This one is easy for me since I am retired!! My commute used to be a mere 6 miles and took 10-15 minutes, depending on how I hit the traffic lights. My work commute when I lived in Metro DC was a whole lot different and one of the reasons we left there and moved to Florida!
Happy Friday the 13th!! Thanks for your visit! Peace & hugs.

Love your pictures of the farm. So funny the one of Doc sticking out his tongue. I used to work 6 miles from home also and it took me 20 minutes to get there because of traffic. Hope your Joe is feeling g better.
ReplyDeleteWas hoping Joe felt better, but sometimes it takes longer to get well. I know you enjoyed the animals on the farm tho. Isnt it great not to have to worry about traffic, etc. in the mornings now? Retirement is great!
ReplyDeleteI don't even have to ask about your commute in DC. Let me guess, it took two hours to go anywhere, didn't it?
ReplyDeleteJust about right! And I lived in Alexandria.
DeleteMy rail commute to London took about two hours each way there and back home. Sometimes I visited various other cities by car. The drive was about two hours or more to get there.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Aww sorry to hear Joe wasn't feeling better. Coughs are so hard to get rid of and are so draining. Hoping his meds kick in fast so he starts feeling better.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Terri! Have to love the horse sticking out his tongue - lol!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Love your horses...especially with the tongue sticking out!! That's a cute one! So glad you get to do this each week!! We enjoy going along with you!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day... glad you at least got to the farm and the horses
ReplyDeleteAwww...I hope Joe gets to feeling better....smiles
ReplyDeleteWhat fun photos. Hope Joe continues to improve and feels better soon! Have a good weekend. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteOh Washington DC traffic is the reason so many defense jobs moved here t the Huntsville Traffic. Huntsville traffic can be trying but nothing like DC. All the people who moved down here are quite pleased with the area and found out that Alabama is quite different than it is perceived by many.:)
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy pictures from the farm. I was also fortunate to live close to where I worked, only 10 minutes and I would be at my desk. Hope your weekend is happy and blessed.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! Love the horse sticking out his tongue. You were lucky to have such a short commute. I always had anywhere from 18 to 30 miles to travel each way. So relieved I don't have to do that anymore because traffic has only gotten worse over the years, even with wider and more freeways. Which, by the way, are not free anymore for the most part. I hope Joe is feeling better and that he will be fixed up soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of Doc...too funny!
ReplyDeleteI've worked from home mostly with my own graphics and ghost writing business in the last few decades.
ReplyDeleteI hope your husband is soon feeling much better. Its away to feel bad.
The photo of Doc is the best!! I love how much personality horses have.
Have a wonderful weekend :)
Oh my goodness, Terri! Your shutter finger was sure in the right place at the right time. (Giggle!)
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine commuting in the D.C. metro! Whenever I fret over the $$$ we're spending, I just remind myself how much I'm saving on gas.
Hope Joe is feeling better today. I enjoyed visiting the farm with you. It has been a while since I have been to one.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing fotos from the farm. Hope Mr. Joe is doing well. I'm sorry for being so late to visit... again. Life is getting kinda crazy. My Mom has ALZ and her memory is getting worse... I'm spending a lot more time with her these days. Hope you've had a great weekend! 💜
