First of all, thank you all for the prayers, suggestions, and good thoughts! All much appreciated!
We are completely calm and comfortable with Joe's new doctor and with the direction his valve replacement is taking us. We have complete trust in God and in our doctors and know the prayers of family and friends will get us to a successful and complete recovery for him!! Thank you!
Joe is feeling so good that he went to the clubhouse this evening to play Nickels with our friends.
I am still coughing, blowing and not sleeping but each day gets a little better and I expect to be feeling as good as Joe does in a couple more days. This was his cold that became mine and they are both running the same course so there is light at the end of the tunnel.
He has been taking good care of me, ordering in food, picking up prescriptions, etc., etc. Bless him!!
I am SO far behind visiting your blogs and my email is beyond digging out. If I have missed something you want me to know, please call my attention to it!! I'll catch up but it will be awhile.
Thanks again for your concerns and your prayers!! Love to you all! Peace & hugs!
Just please concentrate on getting well...and Joe too, with all of his current issues. That is your "mission" right now. We are all here, cheering you on. Take care, dear friend. Have a blessed and comfortable weekend. Praying for you and Joe.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see this, Terri. Please just take good care of each other; the rest will take care of itself! God bless!
ReplyDeleteTerri, our situations are similar and I am way behind in commenting on blogs. I have been trying to read and keep up, but havent written on any of them. I will continue to pray for you and Joe that God heals all. Blessings to you both.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't missed anything important. Just rest and get yourself better so you can take care of Joe. Have a blessed weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou just take good care of yourself and Mr. Joe and don't worry about visiting. Prayers, sweet Friend. 💜
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your husband the best of health. Still praying.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Glad things seem to be on the mend.. Best wishes. :)
ReplyDeleteTerri, don't worry about not visiting etc...you need to get better, my friend. smiles.
ReplyDeleteContinuing to pray, Terri! Don't worry your head about catching up, just get well soon.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear he (and you) were feeling well enough to get out to the clubhouse. Sometimes that can be a big boost to the spirits when you have been not feeling up to it.
ReplyDeleteSo thankful to hear an update about your health and very glad you are improving!
ReplyDeleteBless your hearts. You're both just going through it, aren't you.... I feel your pain. My dad is back in the hospital with blood clots in his leg & blood infection. So dang scary. Always something. I'll keep praying for you all - you pray for my daddy ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for your peace and good attitudes. That's a blessing from God! You have lots of people praying for you!
ReplyDeleteOh dear Terri!! I am so behind in reading blogs!! I have just caught up with the medical updates on Joe and on what a bad cold you have had. I'm so sorry! I'm just thankful you didn't have to put up with our weather on top of it all! But we just had a fantastic spring weekend, so I think we're turning the corner. I hope you are too.
ReplyDeleteSweet Terri it seems you two are taking good care of each other. Keeping prayers going for you both to be doing great very soon. Hope your week is filled with nothing but wonderful. Hugs and blessings
