These are 'throwback' photos from 2009 when we took BFF Elaine and her Jim on an airboat ride on Lake Kissimmee.
Look closely and you'll see an alligator.
A closer look at the gator. If I remember correctly, we didn't see very many on this trip. It was too cold for them to be out.
I am so excited to be able to taste and smell again that we went out for dinner last night at Olive Garden. We had a gift card to use, and use it we did! Joe had yet another doctor's appointment yesterday and he is still in normal sinus rhythm, for which we are thrilled!!
I mentioned meeting a blogging friend for lunch when we venture up to Charleston (Folly Beach) in a couple of weeks. We have firmed up the plans and I am so excited that I'll be meeting Pam Loftin and one of her lovelies for lunch on Wednesday the 22nd!! Pam blogs over at Empty Nest in case you would like to catch up with her. If anyone else is close enough to join us, send me an email!! We can have a party!

ReplyDeleteOh yes, I see the gator and am glad he's there and not here. We saw some at one of the plantations we visited in Charleston out in the open. Scary to me.
