These are really tidbits...
- Got the laundry done yesterday! Hooray!
- Made yellow rice, black beans, and smoked sausage for our dinner last night.
- Got through nearly all of the blogs I've missed over that last days while on vacation and it was fun catching up with you all.
- Unpacking is no fun at all.
- We stopped at a little market on the way home and got some peach preserves, apple butter, jalapeno ketchup, and some green tomato relish. I love green tomato relish with roast beef. My mom made the best green tomato relish...
- I wrote thank you notes to our hosts for the Folly Beach house. They only asked that I cook an Italian dinner for all of us one night (Friday). Our niece and her husband could only stay until Wednesday, so we were invited to come Wednesday through Saturday. So appreciative. That house was expensive, even with three families splitting the cost.
- Back to work today. Blecht. I love my job and the Museum family, but I am sure sliding into retirement mode fast!! LOL

ReplyDeleteGetting back into the routine after vacation is always hard. Just think, today makes it 1 day closer to retirement. Any thoughts as to when? Hope Tuesday is an easy day.

ReplyDeleteI know you're so looking forward to retirement and getting some rest and spending more time with our Mr. Joe. My "retirement" has found me busy, busy with so many other responsibilities. I sometimes say I wouldn't "work" so hard if I had a REAL JOB!! LOL Your supper last night sounds soooo good....and a big Italian meal sounds great. Can you tell my life revolves around FOOD?!?!? HOPE you have a great Tuesday.
