Sunday Stealing & Announcement from Bud.....

First...a note from our sponsor:

My Friends Call Me Tulip

A message from Bud-

Changes always happen. After our “Stealing” questions on October 7th2012, I stepped down as author of Sunday Stealing. Mr. L took over for six months. But since then in April of 2013, my dear friend Kwizgiver has authored every meme. She found avenues and memes (or Surveys if you prefer) that we hadn’t tried before. She has done a remarkable job. But, she needs a break and asked to take the summer off. While I am looking forward to return as author, I want to open it up to you, our players and friends. If you’d like to guest host a week or a month, please contact me atbud.weiser@wtit.net. Kwizgiver is returning so the commitment won’t be long. But I do pledge that we will publish every week this summer.

Please join me thanking Kwizgiver for a job well done. Please leave her a message in our comments section! Thank you for joining in each week. We’ve been at this nearly eight years and while so many memes have come and gone, it is your loyalty that keeps it going. Thank you. Now here’s today’s meme!

Bud Weiser

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated onWTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes (or surveys) from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.

Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

Sunday Stealing: My Friends Call Me Tulip

Can you stay inside all day without getting bored?  Yes. I do it all the time.

Tell us about a TV show that we should watch.  Where The Heart Is, on Acorn TV.

When was the last time you were at your home computer all day?  I never stay at my home computer all day.  I do it at work and it's the last thing I want to do at home!

What websites other than your own do you visit daily?  Quite a few at work.

Do you have a favorite day of the week?  Friday!  Why?  The weekend is here!

Did you ever watch Saturday morning cartoons?  Yes. What was your favorite?  Rocky & Bullwinkle.

Were you a comic book fan?  No. Never.

Did you earn an allowance when you were a kid?  Yes.  How much?  $4.00 a week. Was it tied to chores?  Indeed...babysitting after school, starting dinner, helping to clean the house and do laundry, washing dishes after dinner....(my mom worked full time and I was the oldest kid).

What is the fanciest type of car you've ridden in?  An Audi, a Lexus, an Austin Healy...  What occasion?  Friends' cars and my ex-husband's car....

What's your favorite sport to watch?   Probably football, then hockey, then college basketball.

Ever tried surfing?  Nope.

Have you ever been to a live major team sporting game?  Yes, several times. Eagles. Flyers.

From a scale of 1 to 5 how athletic are you (1=nerd, 5=very athletic)?  I used to be very athletic so perhaps a 3.5, but not anymore.  Probably why my knees are such a mess.

What's your favorite horror movie?  Any Bela Lugosi Dracula movie from the 50s.

What is your favorite cult classic movie?  Rocky Horror Picture Show.

About how many times do you go to the movies a month?  Maybe 3-4 times a year.  We wait for them to hit Netflix.

Favorite movie, which one came to your head first?  There are too many that I can watch over and over.... Blast From The Past; Galaxy Quest; Gone With The Wind; Pretty Woman.....

What if your life was like a movie?  Ha! What type of movie would it be?   Very boring.

Do you like long series movies, like "Lord of the Rings"?  Yes, if they are well made and not just silly sequels that are never as good as the first.

A big thanks to Kwizgiver carrying the load! Enjoy your summer!

Today is my grandma's 97th birthday!!

Thanks for your visit today!  Enjoy your Sunday!  Peace & hugs.

  3. 97 - WOW, that definitely deserves a 'Happy Birthday'. I must be a nerd for sure...never watched Rocky Horror, or Dracula, but then again, I am not a 'scary' movie person. I lean toward feel good ones I guess. Now, Pretty Woman or Gone With the Wind, yes...good ones. Happy Sunday dear friend.

  8. A happy birthday to your grandma. She looks great for 97! I've been retired now for six years and I still don't want to be on the computer all day. Too much like work. I would say you earned that $4.
