I believe I have mentioned in previous posts that we are planning another family reunion beach vacation, though it will be at Folly Beach, South Carolina, this coming June, rather than in Florida. I've put out some feelers and some of the cousins are reluctant to make a commitment this far out. I'm hoping to get a little more enthusiasm from them after the first of the year. We are all of an age, now, and who knows what our bodies will be doing to us in 8 months!
One of my blogging friends, Pam, lives in Charleston and I have already reached out to her to plan an in-person meeting while we are there. Hoping we can work it out and I'm excited about it!! She said "awesome"!
The last time we were there (we have been twice, in 2007 and 2009) this picture was taken of my sister Patti and me....
The beach is gorgeous, though it might be a little cold still, in June....at least for those of us from Florida. LOL
I am also thankful on this Thursday for my wonderful family and extended family. Blessed indeed!

Beautiful beach babes on an equally beautiful beach. Winter has come to Colorado this week... I hope your family reunion comes together after the first of the year. As you said, we are of an age when we have no idea what our bodies will be doing to us 8 months out!!
