Sunday Stealing Meme...

Thanks to Kwizgiver for the Sunday Stealing Meme!

Halloween Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

Are you scared of bats?  Not afraid, but I don't want them in the house or dive-bombing my head!

When you were a kid, did you go out on Mischief Night? (Mischief Night is an informal holiday on which children and teens engage in pranks and minor vandalism. While its name and date vary from place to place, it is most commonly held near the end of October to coincide with the night before Halloween).  Nope.  Never did a Mischief Night.

What is your favorite trick-or-treat candy?  Little Hershey bars.

Have you ever seen a ghost?  No.

The most memorable costume you ever wore?  Haven't a clue.

Do you dress up on Halloween?  Nope. Not anymore.

Any cooking or baking you do for Halloween?  Nothing special.

Have you ever been to The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland or Disneyworld? Yes. It's fun!

Any element of the season you don’t like?  The kids who are too old to be out begging.

What is your favorite scary movie?  Don't really have a favorite.

Do you cook the pumpkin seeds from your carved jack-o-lanterns?  Nope.

Are you intrigued with vampires?  No. I used to believe they were real. Not anymore.

What is your favorite written work of horror fiction?  Can't think of anything.

What is your favorite work of science fiction/fantasy?  Not a science fiction fan.

Who is your favorite monster? I really don't have a favorite monster.

What is your favorite Horror movie?  I don't have a favorite horror movie.

What horror movie gives you the most chills?  They don't usually give me chills.

What character from any horror film would you most like to play?  Can't think of any.

Well, this Sunday Stealing didn't reveal much about me since I couldn't really answer half of the questions.

Yesterday, we got up early (for us on Saturday) and went out for breakfast, then on to the Farmers' Market. We got some fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Then we stopped at Sam's Club for a few things, before going to Lowe's for another load of mulch for our front yard. We have put 30 bags of rubber mulch on the new bed and still need at least five more to finish it, then another 15 for around the tree and the light post. We may get them today, after church.  We have started going to 8:00 Mass instead of Saturday's 4:00 Vigil Mass. We switch off now and then.

Happy November!!  Thanks for stopping by today! Wishing you a good Sunday and week ahead! Peace & hugs.

  2. I would have answered most of them the way you did to. Never a fan of anything scary, spooky or such. How is Joe feeling? He popped into my head the other day and when that happens I pray.

  3. We had a couple of people over so we got dressed up. Normally we don't.

Wow that's a lot of mulch. Can't wait to see pics when it's done.
    Have a great day!

  5. Some of these I answerered yesterday. There are some movies which have scared me, and although it's not a horror film, there's a scene in the film Wait Until Dark where I really screamed. I think just about everyone who has seen it has screamed. Have you seen it? It's an old film with Audrey Hepburn in which she plays a woman who has recently become blind. Enjoy your Sunday and your extra hour too.

  6. Those were sorta difficult questions to answer, I think. Can you even believe it's November already? WOW....CHRISTmas will be here before we even know it. I'm excited about celebrating THANKSgiving this year for some reason. No real different plans, just excited! ;-)

  7. I am so with you on the shameless begging by high school kids or even adults. Please, go buy a candy bar and grow up!

  8. I'll never forget my first encounter with bats. We were in Wisconsin for the summer, I was about 13yrs old. Pollyanna had just been released and I went to see it with friends, and....I wore a white blouse. Yep, I did. Bats love white! There were bats in that theater and they nose dived at me. Scared me silly, needless to say, I left that movie in a hurry!!

  9. Oh my! I had a terrible bat experience when I was a teenager. I was sleeping in a house owned by the retirement home where I worked in the summertime. One night we had a bat bomb diving from bedroom to bedroom. It was TERRIFYING!! I have hated them ever since.

Wow, rubber mulch! I never knew there was such a thing. That sounds like a lot of work. We'll need more pictures soon!

  10. Hahaha! I'm loving your answers to these questions. So glad you aren't a spooky person. Love ya! My most memorable costume was as a hula girl when I was much younger. I came very close to posting a pic yesterday, but my better judgment won out!

Wait Until Dark was a very scary movie.
