I talked about family reunions in yesterday's Hodgepodge. I went looking for reunion photos, and was able to locate one of the Cameron family. I was quite young in this photo, and I put an X on the people I recognize and know. The rest are mysteries. Isn't is awful how we lose track of family? I have a bunch of relatives I know nothing about. What a shame. I'm guessing this is about 1955.
Our only "claim to fame" on the Cameron side is Dr. Arthur James, of the James Cancer Center, in Columbus Ohio. He was married to Millie Cameron. They may be in this picture, but I don't know what they look like.
The next photo is of me, holding my sister, Patti, with our brother, Randy. Patti was born in June 1958, so we can assume this is late summer 1958, making me almost 7 years old.
Happy Thursday to you all!! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Blessings.

Happy Thursday to you too! I love that picture of you and your siblings - very cute!
ReplyDeleteI'll say it again (repeat parott, smiles)..I love learning and looking at others throwback photos. Blessings
ReplyDeleteWow...we could be sisters...you and I when young, look very similar!!
ReplyDeleteLove the big sister photo best of all.
Love the pics. You were a cutie! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing....why you ask? Just last night I received an email from my Grayce, asking for the full names of her great grand mother & father, and great, great same. She was doing a project for school and needed them. Like you, I am sorry to say I dont know much about my extended family....example: knew my great grandfather's name, but not great grandmother(all had nicknames that I called them). I have no way of finding them either, as all that I did know, are dead. Did love seeing you and your sister and brother tho!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you I too have a whole side of a family that I don't know - but I wish I did!
ReplyDeleteI've 'found' lots of my family on facebook. Although most of them I haven't met in person, I can still share in their lives. I recently discovered that my cousin Linda, who I do remember from when we were little, has been to Lakeland, Terri. I learned that from a comment she made on a photo.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm just getting here... trying to catch up with everyone. I love your photos. Fortunately, with the help of one cousin, I've managed to get names and dates of all our ancestors, up to the early 1700's. When my grandkids have questions, they come to Grandma. Now, recognizing faces in old photos, that's another story.
