Saturday's Synopsis....

I am happy to report that my car has been fixed! Joe figured out how to reset the motor on the sun roof, and it is performing good-as-new!! Whew!

My computer, however, is a different story. It stays up for awhile, then gets funky and acts up. It restarts on its own, drops the internet....  me thinks it might be time for a new computer. We actually looked at some, at Sam's Club tonight.

I have gotten behind in commenting on your posts. I'll catch up as I can, or as the computer will allow me. I hate trying to use the keyboard on my phone.

Today was my last day watching the cats next door. B & G got back from their cruise this afternoon. We went shopping for groceries after Mass. This is Palm Sunday weekend. Easter dinner, next Sunday, is here. We invited Helen and Cheryl, and we got the ham tonight.  I have Monday off, so have another long weekend to look forward to.

Hope you are having a good weekend! Thanks for coming by! Peace, love & hugs.

Finishing this on my little Nexus. The laptop went black again. Grrrrr.

  1. You know I can 'commiserate" (is that a word?) when it comes to computer troubles. Glad the sunroof is working and as you said it might be time for a new machine. I love Palm Sunday and of course Easter. Hoping your day is a good one.

  2. I too don't care to use the phone's keyboard. But when push comes to shove, I'd much rather use it than not have any connection to bloggers. LOL

    Have a glorious holiday weekend.

It does sound like it might be time for a new laptop.

  4. I'm not looking forward to the time that I have to get a new computer if it's Windows 8. At least you got your sun roof fixed otherwise you'd have to put up an umbrella. LOL

  6. Computer problems can drive a person crazy, especially if we get to where we depend on it being there for us. It sounds like you may have a virus. But getting a new computer is so much more fun.
So glad your hubby got the sunroof fixed. The duct tape is just not attractive anymore. :)
    You have a great day.

  7. I will post again but my husband and I are going to share his computer for a while - - - other expenses coming up. Plus he is not home during the day so we should be able to make the schedule work. However, we went on New Egg and worked up the best quote. Our IT guys use that site a LOT.

  8. It is always a steep learning curve and stress time when you switch computers but a month later you reflect back and wonder what the fuss was about. However, at 70, I do not like change very much and resist it, kicking and screaming as I am being dragged into this century.
