Monday Quiz About Me - #MQAM
Here are FOUR QUESTIONS that everyone can answer and then you have the option to add a fifth question of your own for those who are visiting your blog to answer in the comment section, along with commenting on the four standard questions you answered!
1. Today is International Astronomy Day - do you star gaze? Have a favorite constellation?
Nope - I don't star gaze. Since my 'sign' is Sagittarius, I guess I like that constellation best....
2. It is also Great Poetry Reading Day - share something poetic... Roses are red, Violets are blue, I'm not into poetry, how about you?
(* It's also Kiss Your Mate Day -but I don't think we need to discuss that *-*)
3. Volunteering has been a big topic around our house lately - do you volunteer? What kinds of volunteering do you enjoy? Yes, I volunteer, and also work in a non-profit organization that values its volunteers! I like to volunteer when it is for a good cause, serving others.
4. April 30th is National Honesty Day - clear your soul - and be honest about something you've been holding in... I gave up telling fibs years ago, since my face always betrays my true feelings. My latest thing is separating my blogging contacts into two groups, one of which I will read every day. The other one I will monitor. I just can't keep up with everyone anymore, and don't know how those of you with hundreds of contacts can do it. I don't like to just breeze through. I appreciate my friendships here, and look forward to your comments.
As usual, I won't post a #5, but ask that you comments on one of the four above. Thanks so much for coming by! Wishing you a great week ahead!
I just dont be-friend hundreds either. I like knowing my friends here, keeping up with them daily. I dont star geaze either, I like you, gave up telling lies and tales long ago; dont volunteer for reasons, but wish I could again. Poetry has never been my thing, but know there is some awesome ones out there. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI hear you about the blog thing. We volunteer, we star gaze, and as for lies..gave that up a long time ago, poetry is not my thing either. Have a Blessed day.
ReplyDeleteI don't star gaze either but I do watch the daytime sky and clouds. I'm also a Sagittarius, but I don't read poetry, I don't fib and I don't volunteer. I don't have many blogging friends so that's not a problem for me. Oh, my.

ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to catch up on your posts after you left me a comment last week while I was out birding most days along with a national birding convention being held in our city. Hope your week ahead is a good one. Thanks for stopping by to leave me a comment.
Your answer to the volunteer question makes me proud to know you!!
I like your answers. Part of your honesty answer made me laugh because my family always tells me I can never get away with fibbing because my face gives me away. :)
ReplyDeleteI totally get you on the blogging thing. I haven't officially made two blogging groups, but I do have blogs I read and comment on regularly and others that I just skim. I can't keep up with all of them!
I especially like the poems we had to memorize when we were at school and would love to be a star-gazer if I could see some at night - too much light pollution.
ReplyDeleteActually you're one of the few people I interact with on here as many I have on my list never post anything. As I always say, luckily we have facebook.
I don't star gaze very much unless the kids are looking for something or we are watching some special star gazing event. One, two, three, touch my knee. I just made that up. Impressed? lol! I volunteer as our Sunday school superintendent, Cub Scout den leader and other school and church events. That's a good idea to separate them into 2 groups. I don't get to reading blogs every day and then I do a little catching up. Can't think of anything I need to get off my chest right now. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteInteresting as always. I would love to have more friends here, but I have a hard time some days keeping up with those I have.
ReplyDeleteWell, I stargaze, but for sure, I fib. You know my saying..."The story doesn't have to be true, just entertaining :)"
ReplyDelete(btw, I check a handful of posts daily, the rest I read/skim one day a week)
