Sunday....
Just saw how late it is! This day has gone much too fast.
We have had beautiful weather, and could have the doors and windows open to fresh air. The pollen is beginning to get bad, though, so these days are numbered.
I cleaned the house, the last load of laundry is in, and I have been doing home bookkeeping most of the rest of the day. Feels good to be crossing things off the list, though!
Church was good last night, and we went to Saigon Bistro for dinner. Love the Chicken Pho. Yum.
The weekend is nearly gone, and I have a busy week at work coming up. I also have my church women's group tomorrow evening, and we are doing Easter Baskets for shut-ins. That's how I'll be celebrating St. Patrick's Day. I have corned beef and cabbage, but told Joe we will have it on Tuesday night for dinner, instead of tomorrow night. I won't have time to put it together tomorrow night. I'm sure St. Patrick will understand!
Joe and I have started watching a series on Netflix called House of Cards, with Kevin Spacey. It is all about politics in D.C., and how corrupt everything is. We are really enjoying it. My boss suggested we watch it. She lived in D.C., and so did we (years ago). It is fun to see the sites as they film the show. If you are looking for a good show and have Netflix, take a look. We're hooked.
Hope you have had a good weekend, and I wish you a great week ahead!! Peace, love & hugs!!

Sounds like you had a full weekend. How wonderful to make baskets for the shut-ins. I know your St. Patrick's Day meal will be delicious on Tuesday.

ReplyDeleteI've heard that show was good - I'll have to keep it in mind.
ReplyDeleteHave fun tomorrow! I know the shut ins will appreciate their baskets.
I hear that show is really good. I watch Revenge. Have a great Monday. Blessings
ReplyDeleteI envy your beautiful weather. My friend in Riverview FL spent last week at Disney World and commented about the nice weather they had. We're still so cold.
ReplyDeleteI've heard about that show but wasn't sure it would be good. I may check it out now.
I also have all the ingredients for corned beef and cabbage too, but I don't feel good enough today to make it. We may be having our's on Tuesday too.
Hope you have a good day.
We had a couple of beautiful spring-like days and then this morning when I got up the ground and trees were covered with snow and it is cold again. I have "House of Cards" in my watch list on Netflix but haven't started watching it yet. I am glad you are enjoying it I will see soon what I think about it. The corned beef and cabbage sounds so good. Hugs
ReplyDeleteOur snowdrops opened and the red-winged blackbirds are back. It makes one's heart sing.
ReplyDeleteMy sister usually makes corned beef and cabbage when I visit in September. I like Kevin Spacey, but alas we don't get Netflix.
