Lucy escaped again. The cats were out, enjoying the nice day around the pool when I heard a terrible sound. I went to investigate and saw this, and Lucy running around the side of the house...
She climbed the screen and found a weak corner to rip into. Now we need to re-do the upper panels, as well as the lower, with the pet-proof screening.
Lucy is still missing, since 10:30 this morning. We have seen her several times here in the neighborhood. I don't think she will go far, since she was born in the house across the street (new people and they have pit bulls). I just hate that it is dark, and she hasn't come in yet. We left the screen door open a bit, so she can get back into the patio area. Prayers for her safety and safe return would be appreciated.
Signing off for Sunday night. Wishing you all a good week ahead. Peace, love & hugs.

I will pray. It will be difficult to sleep until she has returned. You just can't have peace of mind.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. I pray Lucy comes back soon or finds a safe place of refuge for the night.

Sheila...this reminds me of my kitty from college who was the Great Houdini!
I do hope Lucy is safe at home now.
ReplyDeleteI will pray for her safe return also. It's such a worry when they are gone.

Our neighbourhood is all watching for a dog who ran off and there is a nuisance bear roaming the alleys.
