The state highway department has issued a travel warning due to snow
storms and bad road conditions.
They suggest that anyone traveling in the current icy conditions
should ensure that they have the following:
- Shovel
- Blankets or sleeping bag
- Extra winter clothing including coats, hat and gloves
- Water
- 24 hours worth of food
- Deicer fluid
- Rock salt
- Flashlight with spare batteries
- Road flares or reflective triangles
- 5-gallon gas can
- First aid kit
- Booster cables
I looked like an idiot when I got on the Senior Bus this morning.

ReplyDelete:) Thanks for the morning chuckle!
ReplyDeleteThat is a good one, but hey, buses break down, too! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat was cute! Y'all stay safe today. ~:)
ReplyDeleteol, good one! have a nice day away!
ReplyDeleteYou'll be the prepared one if the bus gets stuck out in the middle of nowhere though!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha!! That was a good one!
ReplyDeleteIt is all good advice though if you will have to leave the city or go off a main highway. People have slid off of roads here and been missing for days, pinned inside or in medical distress.
ReplyDeleteBut that was a cute joke.
ReplyDeleteFunny!! Hugsd
ReplyDeleteThat is very, very cute! I like it. And as I am replying on Sunday, we are possibly facing some more snow problems this week. My younger daughter is looking for a day off from school. I told her I preferred clear roads even if it meant a full work week. I don't like my loved ones on slippery roads.
