- That says it all!!!
- I am tired. Yesterday I was beyond tired. Today I am just tired. It's getting better! LOL
- Poor Joe has caught a cold. I don't want it. He also cut his finger real bad, so I am a little worried about it. Keeping it wrapped with medicine on it. Not something stitches could help, but he pealed a big chunk of skin from the pad of a finger - caught it on a hook in the garage. Glad he has a current tetanus shot!
- Work is crazy with Gala aftermath. Today is also our February Board of Trustees meeting. It is always good to have the Board meeting over....and it will be, by 1:30.
- I'm still doing laundry. One more load and I'll be done until Sunday. Laundry really never ends.
- Our son, daughter-in-law and the pups all got home safely yesterday! Jeff got home safely on Saturday. We are always happy to hear of safe arrivals when our loved ones are traveling. Praise God.
- Can February really be almost over? This year is just zipping by. Each one seems to go faster. I'm sure those of you still buried under piles of snow think it has gone too slow, but the end of February brings the March pollen for us....and the leaves to rake. The live oak trees lose leaves in the spring as the new leaves push the old ones out. They are never bare, but those little leaves are a pain to keep up with, and they get tracked into the house, too. Our four trees were gifts from my mom, when we bought the house nearly 25 years ago (We actually had five trees, but one died). They were about 5 feet tall then, and are now towering over the house!
Can you tell I really don't have much to say today? Even the tidbits are boring!! I'll just stop now, and appreciate that you got this far!! Have a good Tuesday, dear friends!! Peace, love & hugs.

Your tidbits are never boring, nor are you. Praying for Joe..yep..laundry seems to mulitply here, LOLOL. I think the laundry some how grows legs and moves on it own, lol. Blessings
ReplyDeletePoor Joe, I hate to hear that about his finger; sure hope it heals quickly. Laundry, ugh, dont even think about it any more, just like a robot, I put a load in every day by habit. You know you are not boring - ever! Hope the Board of Directors meeting goes smoothly and is over soon.
ReplyDeleteYou're never boring.
ReplyDeleteYou're not boring! I'm feeling tired like that too - life gets crazy sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYou should share a picture of your trees. I love live oaks - wish they grew here!
Gee, I was just thinking that you always have something exciting going on, so don't say your tidbits are boring. Hope Joe's finger gets better soon. I'd probably put some vitamin E on it. That's what I did when I split my lip. Glad everyone got home okay.
ReplyDeleteI love and stole your frog - I feel the exact same way! It is perfect. I am sorry about Joe - Rick did something a week ago with his exacto knife. I do hope you catch up and get some rest after the gala....
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your tidbits. You are always interesting. I'm glad your family made it home safe.
ReplyDeleteHope you get rested up and feel better soon. Take care.
You're not boring. It's (blissfully) quiet around here too.
ReplyDeleteWe're at the tail-end of the Cedar tree pollen. Oak trees are next. *aaachhooo* I've dreamed up an outdoor project to commence soon down by the front gate. Hubby agrees it needs to be done, but, we'll see ...
Hope Joe's finger heals soon. Poor man! Those "little" cuts are sometimes the worse. ~:)
That picture says it all for me some days, too. lol And, yes laundry is never ending...well, I have found it did slack up a lot after all the kids moved. That's a big help. Ouch, Joe catching his finger on a hook sounds painful! Just reading about it makes me shutter. Oak trees are beautiful, but they surely drop a mess on your lawn. Luckily, we do not have many on our property. My in-laws had several big ones near their house and what a mother load of leaves these trees left. They had them removed several years ago mainly because they were afraid they would come down on to their house. Lightening struck a few damaging them, so anything is certainly possible. I'm glad they are gone now because they are elderly and don't need the extra work. Thanks for the prayers for those mentioned on MMM post and for stopping by. It's always a pleasure to have you visit!
ReplyDeleteTell Joe to take care of that finger. Sounds really painful! And I know what you mean about being tired. You've been very busy lately. I'm still not at 100% energy after the hip replacement, but things are coming along. Still, I know what you mean about being tired. I wear out by afternoon. Hope you have a good evening, Terri. Take care. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHope Joe feels better soon. It's snowing right now and we got some snow yesterday. I am ready for Spring. Happy Hump Day!
ReplyDeleteI hope Joe's finger heals ok. Even when you're busy, you seem to really enjoy your work.
ReplyDeleteTotally can relate. Sometimes I just need and incentive, like company coming, to get me out of the "blahs". Love your poster. Hope Joe gets feeling better soon.
