It is hot and steamy, here in Florida, but not as hot as I hear it is in Texas. And up in Ohio, the weather sounds absolutely delightful! Saw this cartoon on Facebook today, and thought it was cute - and true! Love Maxine!
Joe wanted BBQ when I got home this evening, so off to Rib Crib we went. It was quite good! We then went to Publix for a few groceries. Ho-hum.
The rain held off until later, on our way home from the grocery. More thunder and lightening, but at least it is not raining hard; just sprinkles so far.
Tomorrow is labwork day. I am happy to have a 7:15 a.m. appointment, since I can't have breakfast until afterwards. Then off to the surgical center for pre-admitting paperwork. In between - just work.
Ho-hum, again!!

At 7:45 Pm it's still 94 degrees here with a heat index of 102... I hate summer, even worse than spring. I'm miserable, bitchy, and cranky when I;m hot. LOL, I'm going to lay in front of the A/C vent....

ReplyDeleteI love Maxine too. Ohio has high humidity too, as you know, but I think it's probably worse in FL. It's been climbing upward the last couple days, but the good news, it's going to be back down in the 70's by the weekend.

It's been unseasonably cool here - not even hitting 80! I could get used to this. :)

I feel sorry for those who have to work outside in the Madrid heat, but can't imagine how those who have to work outside in high humidity can stand it. Good luck with your tests today.

I like both the postcards you posted! And I always like when the husbands want to eat out. I love to cook but enjoy being out of the kitchen, too. I thought about you this morning (writing this on Wednesday) with the lab work.
