The house is clean, the laundry is done and Joe and I have done nothing but watch TV the rest of the day. It has been wonderful!!
We are so hooked on 'Midsomer Murders'. I've mentioned it before. There are 81 episodes on Streaming Netflix, and we are into the low 50s. I hate to even think of the last episode, we have enjoyed it that much. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midsomer_MurdersI did make a nice breakfast this morning, and just cleaned up dishes from a pasta and meatball dinner, with a side salad.
Speaking of TV, a few of our favorites are coming back over the next few weeks! 'Hell On Wheels' and 'Breaking Bad'!! I guess we'll be set with new episodes of these when we are finished with 'Midsomer'....

Glad you got everything caught up around the house. Now you are ready to begin a new week. I tend to watch USA, TNT and ION stations...the 3 major ones dont have a lot that I am interested in. I do like the new one on Hallmark tho - Cedar Cove,and I am still hooked in Covert Affair. In between, I read! lol
ReplyDeleteOh I'm British mystery fan! I recently finished the Midsomer series. I love that show. Try Rosemary And Thyme. It is really good and on Netflix too! I just finished it. There were only three seasons and I was disappointed to see it end. I also loved Cadefyel and watched it. I thought that show lasted longer than it apparently did. I'm watching Marple now. Lots of those out there!

ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a nice relaxing Sunday. I've never heard of that show either. We used to have Netflix but I was paying for something I hardly got to use. Hubby has control of the TV in the living room and has his shows. So I cancelled it.

I so seldom watch TV, except for Indian TV at the lakeshore or campfire, that I have never heard of this series. I admire you for getting all organized first. We live in an arid desert area and it was muggy here today with cloud and thunderstorm buildups. It makes me lethargic. I just can't live with higher humidity. I feel drained. I suppose you are used to it. I also hate A/C but resort to it in the heat of the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI'm not big on TV, especially in the summer. About the only noteworthy shows I watch are 'The Mentalist' and 'Flashpoint' and that is when I haven't seen them already.
ReplyDeleteOK - - -I have not heard of any of those shows!!! We love Psyched and are waiting for its return - - maybe in October? We have not watched Downtown Abbey before but have been told it's great. I am sure we should be able to find it on Netflix or VOD on DirecTV.
