Finally Friday....
It has been a busy week, and I am ready for the weekend! How about you?
My work at the Museum is pretty well caught up, though next week will be busy too. My work here at home is another story! Three weeks of dust and cat hair everywhere! We will need to do some major cleaning, and I'm worried about Vinny hearing the vacuum cleaner for the first time!
Speaking of Vinny, we opened the door tonight, and have decided to let happen what happens. This is how we handled Lilly and Lucy. I've been telling them to remember how it was for them, and to be nice to the little guy. He has disappeared, and we don't know where he is hiding right now. Not going to worry about it. He knows where the food it and where the litter box is. I think it will be fine by this time next week.
I added a new page to my site. Did you notice? Blogging Friends I've Met in Person! If I've met you in person, your photo should be there! What a blessing it has been to meet some of you in person. From Oklahoma, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York.... wow.
I also added a few new photos on the Family, Pets & Friends page. Check them out if you have time!
Wishing you a good weekend! Thanks for stopping by. Peace, love & hugs.

Awwww poor Vinny. He must be so scared. Hopefully he will come out from hiding soon. Keep us posted on his progress. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou have a good weekend, too, Kim. I'll keep you posted about Vinny's progress!
DeleteI love your page on blog friends you've met in person. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It is so much fun to meet my 'cyber' friends in person!!
DeleteHope your cat is back! Hey you have some beautiful friends (lol). Love, sandie
ReplyDeleteHe is here somewhere - hiding under something. The vacuum cleaner noise will probably make him show himself. I'm about to start the cleaning....
DeleteLike the pretty blue background.Has that always been there and I'm just totally unobservant? could be. anyway, loved the photos of the fam and pets. Vinny looks like a shy kitty. I love the name Tristan. It's been one of my very favorite since I started watching 'All Creatures Great and Small' years ago! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Terri.
ReplyDeleteI just changed my background, Judy. I change it once a week or so - when the spirit moves me! Vinny is very shy, but also very loving.
DeleteHow did Vinny do overnight? I didnt get to this entry until this morning (Sat) and am curious as to how he did. Hope you have a dry, sunny Sat. for a change. I was so tired and exhausted last night, that I fell asleep the minute my head hit the pillow. Hoping for a good day today.
ReplyDeleteHe has a new hiding place, so we haven't seen him for a couple of hours, but he did eat this morning. We have sunshine this morning, and hopeful it lasts through the day, Linda.
DeleteHope Vinny has come out of hiding. Poor little boy! I remember years ago when I was visiting one of my sisters who lives in Kentucky, her cat went into hiding the entire day. I was so scared that she's somehow got out maybe when I went outside without realizing it. I looked around the property, but, of course, she was nowhere to be seen. She came out of her hiding place at bedtime. I always called her Annie Antipática because she was very unfriendly.
ReplyDeleteVinny was out and ate this morning, but he is hiding in a new spot right now. Lilly is trying to make up with him, but she can be spooked easily, too. We'll see how it goes.
DeleteHappy Saturday! I just now got over to read your post. I can see we're all interested in your new little fur-baby. It takes time for them to adjust.
ReplyDeleteI checked out your new page. You have met a lot of your online friends. That's great. Now you have a permanent record of them. I like that. You're so fortunate that you've been able to meet them. I have online friends in OK and TX, but I can't see me ever getting out their way to meet. My hubby is not a traveler.
You have a great weekend.
Vacations are wonderful but catching back up with normal routine feels great, too! It sounds like you are pretty wise with acclimating a new kitty to the mix. I did check out some of your changes. I need you to live closer to show me how to change out the background!!! It is on my list to learn this summer and there are about six more weeks to accomplish that.
