The Monday After Mayfaire....
Well, we all made it through another Mayfaire, though everyone at work today is pretty much tapped out. I planned to have the afternoon off. Joe and I are updating our wills, and wanted to get it done before we left on our road trip, so a nap may be in order for me, after our visit with the attorney.
Crazy week for me, with lots of catching up to get done. The car has to go in for an oil change and check-over before we leave, too, and we are getting the neighbors on both sides together, for dinner, on Sunday, since they are both going to watch the house and pets while we are gone. God bless our neighbors!
I was looking out my window this morning, and just happened to catch this photo. There was some noise, which drew me to the window. Parents were lined up to drop their kids off for school. We have the Montessori Middle School here, in our two classrooms, during the school year (we are an official Polk County school site). I was taken by the beautiful dog, watching his child go off to school. A sweet image, even though it didn't take too well through my window. I'll leave you with this, and wish you a good evening! Peace, love & hugs!

Awe that is cute - our Disco watches Andy go off to school every day too. sandie
ReplyDeleteThe dog will surely miss his friend, but summer vacation is coming soon so they can play together. Sounds like your animals are going to be well looked after.
ReplyDeleteDogs can be so interesting, especially when you see the hurt in their eyes when a member of their family has to leave them for one reason or another. I used to see it in my Poodle's eyes.... "don't leave me"
ReplyDeleteIt's a blessing to have such neighbors you can trust.
Sometimes the planning wears you out and then the trip is actually restful and peaceful. Hope you have such a good time, visiting with all the family members, and friends along the way. Sweet dog...they (all our animals) love us unconditionally, dont they?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful to have friends who will watch the house and take care of the pets! What a blessing that is. So much to do in preparation for a trip, huh! How are your knees doing?
ReplyDeleteMy knees are holding up! I guess the two shots of cortisone in each knee are working for me this time. Hooray!
DeleteSounds like you and the pets are very blessed. Hope you have a good time and stay healthy.
ReplyDeleteYou do have great neighbors. Very nice that you all watch each others stuff. Not many neighborhoods like that anymore. Cute pic! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteCute photo! I hope you have a great time on your trip. Lots of preparations I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteAwww! What sweet picture!
