Monday Greetings...
Well, I had a near purrfect Monday! Hope yours was too!
Work went well today, and so did the bone density scan. Of course, I won't have results for a couple of weeks, but I was pleased to know they measured me correctly - I am 5' 11 1/4" , so instead of thinking I've shrunk almost two inches, it's really only a half inch! That made me feel better.
I am so excited about this Thursday and Friday! There were a few silent auction items left, that no one bid on at the Gala. One is two tickets for a Leadership Conference at Southeastern University (here in Lakeland). I have wanted to go every year, since they started, but tickets are crazy expensive. The least expensive for the two days are $450 each. The auction tickets are 'Executive' tickets, which would have cost $3,000 (for 2). I was able to buy them for a pittance (less than one of the cheap seats!), so Joe and I get to attend the full two-day conference, including breakfast, lunch and a evening event on Friday....with Sarah Palin. We are both so excited. This is a Christian-based conference with wonderful speakers. Here is the link: http://www.seuleadershipforum.com/speakers
Tomorrow is my appointment with the chiropractor, and I am hopeful that the massage and another adjustment will be all that is needed to make me 100% fine. I can't begin to describe how wonderful today has been, with barely any back pain, and my knees are back to a pain level that I can ignore. So happy!
We are still cold here. It was 36 degrees this morning, and only got to 66 today. By Saturday, our weather is supposed to be back in the 80s. Hope so!
I wish you a good Tuesday! Peace, love & hugs.

So happy you are feeling better. We had a very cold weekend and snow flurries. Today was much warmer. I am ready for Spring.
ReplyDeleteThat's great about the conference tickets!
I think that the chiropractor has done wonders for you...I am thinking of finding one...maybe that is why I am having pain...maybe an adjustment is in order. Glad you had a good day!!
ReplyDeleteIs Sarah Palin RC? It doesn't matter to me but I thought she was Evangelical in leanings. I am so,so happy that your leg is healing along on the same timelines as mine. Isn't it wonderful to not have the aches in different places anymore?
ReplyDeleteKaryn, Sarah Palin is not Catholic. Southeastern University is Assembly of God, actually. Yes, it is wonderful to be healing and walking better! Blessed!!
DeleteI am very happy you got your tickets, but more than anything, I am very happy your back and knees are not as painful and hope it continues to be. A day that especially happy is needed now and then to keep us going. Have a good Tuesday my friend.
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you were able to get tickets to the conference. I am so glad to hear that you are feeling so much better. Enjoy your massage
ReplyDeleteThat's good to hear that your back and knees are better. I hope your next treatment will benefit even more.
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing to get the tickets for the conference. It sounds like a wonderful experience.
Have a great Tues.
It's already Tuesday evening here, so I hope your appointment went well. I know you'll enjoy your conference - must be interesting at that price!
