A cluttered desk is a sign of....

...a cluttered desk!  LOL

You can tell when work keeps me totally occupied, because I am posting late at night instead of jumping in during the day, during lunch or a quick break.

We are working on next year's budget and it is going to be a long process.  I have February to wrap up.  It is a short work week, because of the Leadership Conference the next two days.  I am looking forward to some down time, and only hope the speakers are entertaining and that I will learn something new from each of them.

My back pain is nearly gone.  My knees are much better and I am able to just ignore them.  Life is good!!  I will see the chiropractor next week, but think I'll put a stop to it after that.  Need to save my visits in case I need to go again, and I would like to take advantage of the massage now and then.  That was nice.

I made breakfast for dinner tonight.  We had a ham steak, potatoes with peppers and onions, and eggs, along with some toast.  It was good, and easy to make.

Our weather remains crazy.  We had high winds and chilly temps today.  I think it only got up to 66 degrees, and is only 54 right now.  Cold for us!

I really have nothing else to report!  I will share day one of the conference with you tomorrow evening!  Wishing you a good Thursday!  Sleep well!!  Peace, love & hugs.

  1. Like I wrote elsewhere, it sounds like many are reporting high winds. We have an advisory to that effect for today along with rain. Just hope my umbrella can resist.
Your dinner sounds good to me. I sometimes have omelette, and, of course, here Spanish omelette is good any time of the day. Hope your conference is good.

We have breakfast for dinner a lot.
Glad you are feeling better. Enjoy your conference

  4. I'll look forward to any posts about the conference. Hope you have a good time. I fix that same meal for our dinners every once in awhile. It's one of our favorites.
    So glad you're feeling better.
